ENARIS-Creation-
The birds chirp as leaves crack. A goddess creature named Enaris walks over her domain. Making sure everything is safe, those who dare hurt the ones she loves end up as the dirt she walks upon. Her body is covered with flowers and moss with tangled vines and logs making up her body, and glowing white eyes, she is a sign of peace and kindness to those who take care of her lands. A crown of wooden antler horns adorns her forehead with spiked pauldrons on her shoulders. Her voice soothes those in pain and heals those who are hurt. those who follow her are told to have good fortune and be a guide to those who are in need. In times of war or suffering, the people pray to Enaris for her protection and comfort. The ancient forest of Ascalon was said to be the birth of the creation of all life on Char, as the forest reflects the grace and majesty of Enaris's might and power. The people of Caldoran use wooden armor thick as steel and curved wooden bows from the forest to show their dedication to the creator and bringer of light. The children of Enaris are ever grateful for the eternal presence of the shining radiance as she creates and replenishes all life on Char. Complimenting her brother Teryn, she replenishes what he destroys in the name of War and Law as a sign of salvation for nonbelievers.
TERYN
-God of War and Law-
As the sun drops on the world of Char. The shadows swallow the lands. Secrets fill the air as the blood on the land washes away. Red eyes of the eternal nights stare at the survivors who walk among the lands. Whispers of deceit run those who can't handle the power of the darkness. Vines and thorns adorn their bodies with blood socked rags hanging over its shoulder. However...for those who follow it their minds have been protected from the madding chatter and gifted a protector to watch over their souls and body to oversee the law of the land and the wars that will ensue to protect it. The God of War and Law is a reckoning call for those who challenge the order of nature. From the seas of Ascalon to the wild jungles of Garama, Teryn instills a balance for the natural creatures of Char. Teryn was said to be originated from the ancient forest of Ascalon, dwelling deep within its magic to protect its natural ecosystem. Yet the sins of foreign empires has awaken the great god on his quest to set life at balance again. The people of Char praise Teryn to reinstill the natural balance of the world and use Teryns wrath during the war to defeat their enemies. Teryn is used as a curse to those who seek disharmony with the natural system. It is believed that when someone dies, they become one with nature and join Teryn in securing the natural ecosystem of Char or is resurrected by the goddess of creation through the might of the artifact.
There are two denominations in the faith, those who seek creation and replenishment are known as the Children of Enaris, aka, the Golden Children. Whereas those who seek Death and Reckoning for those who wish to harm this world are known as The Order of Teryn, aka The Faithful. The holy site of Caldoran and home of the Forest Guard have sworn members of The Faithful, as their sworn mission is to protect and serve the forest and natural balance of life. In the religion chat, your title will rather be Golden Child or The Faithful
Both groups believe in both angelic beings but the people of the ancient city of Caldoran and throughout char believe the faith should focus in two different directions in order to keep balance. The people pray to both gods but each person in the religion makes a choice at some point in their life on which way of life they wish to follow.
