Suggestion Reporting system

I think there should be a forum within the discord where you can report someone. I think /report is more convenient when you’re reporting a bug rather than town-betrayal/cheating reports, because it’s kinda complicated to add good evidence in a /report. Maybe if it’s possible, have /report create a ticket in the discord so that you can attach evidence there if applicable.

I can already tell you, people sort of already do this anyway despite us always redirecting it to guardian dms or /reports. And no, we do not need more tickets in the discord, you can only have 500 or so channels in a discord, and we have reached that limit quite a few times surprisingly. I like the idea, but the execution is kind of... no. Just no.

You can already attach evidence to ingame reports, and if you do need to talk with a staff member about it, dms are always open for them.

Just make it a Google Form link people can file reports in instead then… why is it that every time I see you on the forums you’re being a hater instead of providing constructive criticism? Not once have I ever seen you provide anything positive or of substance on the forums, and surely you would be the most toxic staff member by my estimation (and you’re not even a pvper, so that’s crazy…)

Actually curious on what this solves? Can't talk to an admin through it (so it doesn't solve the problem that a ticket would solve), you can already link videos and evidence through ingame /report (done so myself before, just need to make it links.).

It just creates more paperwork for the same job. A better solution would rather be making it easier to understand the usefulness of /report, and making it easier to go to an admin with trust that they'll take care of your reporrs.

Adding a bunch of links to screenshots and videos to a /report sucks. Both for the one making it, and I imagine also for the staff viewing it.

Fortunately, a broad planned change is coming because we easily get dozens of reports/accusations daily (some, fortunately, even have evidence!).

I can't speak exactly when something like this will be introduced, but it is something we are thinking about and want to work towards.

As blunt as Zachary is, he is correct for the time being. Admins happily attach links to reports if requested, or players can make multiple reports. We will condense them into a singular report since our website can bypass Minecraft's character limit.

I agree that prompting knowledge about reports is useful but it isn't a long-term solution which is why it might be a bit redundant to introduce when a reports update could occur.
