Just a quick note about the timing of this application. I know I am still fairly new, and I know I probably shouldn't apply for Sentry yet being so new as a Slicer. However... This server has seen a huge in-flux of players, and there has not been an in-flux of Admins/Sub-Admins to match it. I have been online frequently when no guardians and sentries were, and the few slicers present had to do what they could to uphold the rules. I have been watching and hoping someone else would apply, but since no one has, here goes. Again, I make this application humbly, and without any expectation about the result.

Which rank I am applying for: Sentry
What I think is expected of this rank: I know as I Sentry I will be mostly a chat admin, kicking for swearing, spamming, inappropriate or offensive remarks of any kind. I know I should ban a repeat offender, but only in the most drastic of circumstances. My most important role will most likely be supporting full admins when the server is crowded and holding down the fort when full admins are absent. I will also be expected to enforce the rules within the spawn area and keep tabs on players with /rx... reporting to full admins the details of any situation that may arise in their absence. I shouldn't abuse the few powers I would be rewarded upon receiving this rank, especially /spawn in pvp. For Sentries, a kick or a mute is always the first step, and I should very rarely ban or jail. As a Sentry my responsibilities will not extend beyond spawn and chat unless an extreme situation should arise. I should never think it appropriate to use my rank to fulfill any personal agenda through abuse, threats, ect. This rank would not award me the right to disrespect any player on the server and does not make me better than them. This respect must extend to admins, owners, and wanderers alike. I feel that helping new players is already my responsibility as Slicer, and I will of course continue do that.
Why I think I should become this rank: I should be a Sentry because I see myself as a responsible, and kind person. I am usually pleasant, and loyal to a fault. I love Loka. I love the entire admin team and I would love to work with them. I am willing and able to moderate chat. Even though I have been no on Loka long, through long conversations with the veterans I understand the history of the server very well. Anyone who has spoken to me will know I cringe at the thought of disrespecting anyone. I want to keep the server thriving in the new age of Porpoise fans, and protect its integrity. I am charismatic, and I love helping new players. Through my connections in Argus I have a deep understanding of the responsibilities of administrating ranks. I will also have fun being Sentry, which I think is essential for any admin or sub-admin. I will take my responsibilities seriously.
