No Plans to Implement Strength Does Something

My Idea is to use Strength for how many Inhibs you can place a day or something, strength seems important but in retrospect it's just bragging rights. I'm not sure what we'd do with the Alliances combining strength and having more and it would be unfair to make it seem like you need to join an alliance but maybe we could Nerf Alliance strength or something, or have all strength start at 0 and the more you win the more it goes up but if you lose you don't go negative? I'm not sure I just like the idea for it, or maybe even the world capital isn't owned by most LAND but most STRENTGH because than defense would genuinely be important instead of "we need to defend this tile so we have land" it's "we need to defend this tile so we have strength." The more I type this the more near impossible I think this is but if we can discuss this and work out the kinks to it I think it could work.

THINGS TO NOTE THAT ARE CURRENT:
When alliances are formed strength combines
When strength hits 0 your town DOES NOT delete itself (like I used to think)
If a town leaves an alliance it takes some strength back

Strength is meaningless and I'd like to see it mean something

+1 if you like this and comment your ideas
-1 if you dislike this and explain why pls

I look forward to hearing your thoughts :)

Oh my sweet summer child...

It IS decided by who has the most strength. ‍

I've thought about changing how strength works before, and had an idea that sort of seems like yours. Not saying it this should be implemented, however, it would be more geared towards lower level towns. The idea is that depending on the strength, level, and actives of a town/alliance, conquest strength would be manipulated differently for the smaller town's DEFENSES. Implementing this for offenses would be an egregiously terrible idea, and would let people cheese conquest horribly. However, even if it was just for defense, this would most certainly help out the little towns compared to the giant war machines of towns that exist these days.

I understand your point here. For most people strength is just some number that either puts you above, or below your enemies. As @koi0001 linked above, the capital policies are what you get from strength. I understand that it seem like a good idea to be able to use it for something else, however, I think that strength is simply a measure of your dominance, nothing more, nothing less. The solution to this is conquest points, where you're now able to fight for buffs and radar module costs. Basically rewards for conquest via Rivina.

This quote does bring up the talk of capital buffs though. Personally, I think that most of them still work quite well, however, the deprecated buffs need to be replaced. (Most notably airship- this is already in talks though.)

World Cap is top strength on Balak.

When alliances are formed strength combines
It does, during truce.

When strength hits 0 your town DOES NOT delete itself (like I used to think)
It doesn't, and never has.

It's literally how capital is won, not by "total land owned".
