[Suggestion] Simple Town gates.

Well... most of the towns have just simple walls around them.

I had the idea of making it possible to have some kind of gates in towns.

It would work as simple as creating the fence wall. Either Iron fence, or Nether brich fence or just plain wooden fence.

Then, when that specific town member right clicks the fence, the fence wall that is atleast 3x3 would move up. up into the air for 1-4 blocks (horses, you know...)

And then after few seconds move back down.

But, if you make this, wouldn't it mean that anyone can click the button and anyone can get inside the town?

Joc is right. This is easily done through a variety of redstone constructions and has been done by several towns in the past as such.

That is the reason i didnt want to use it.

With the plugin, only the town members would be able to do the gate moving thing. So it just simply goes up, and back down.

There are other ways to insure redstone contraptions are only usable by your members. Think outside the box

I remember when I was out exploring to tear apart a jungle temple, I guess now I wandered by Asgard, and crypt was there and he let me use the town portal (at the time, I won't lie, I didn't know that crypt ran the server, so I thought he was some really nice schmo who had no armour and a super nice town) and there was a Redstone gate there that involved only a town member placenta Redstone touch to open the gate.
