New Tavern (cooking)

The chest that is linked to the furnace in the tavern MUST be placed next to the furnace, in any adjacent block.

I found this out while trying to create a streamline system. I cannot do what I have done with the barn and place the output chest anywhere within the zone. I wanted everyone to be aware should they attempt to create any kind of hopper system.

Hopefully it can be adjusted that the output chest can be placed anywhere and cooked items will be placed into it.

Strange... I have my output chest like 3 blocks away from it, and the hopper system works fine...

Unfortunately, mine does not, but I'm glad yours does...

Have you rezoned your Tavern at all? What happens when you try to place the chest, does it say anything?

I haven't rezoned it or anything, and I do get the message that the food chest has been placed. I'm putting it about five or six blocks above it with a hopper system beneath it leading to a storage building. However, the food just cooks and stays in the furnace rather than going to the chest. I'm going to try again shortly.
