Opening note: This is my second post about the Four Divinities (the first can be found here.) The next few posts will cover each of the Four in greater detail. For these posts, I plan to shed the style I used in the first where I described things as the Temple itself would have described. Instead, these will just be straightforward descriptions of each of the Four, their personalities, and their abilities. I hope you enjoy. ~~Astria

Lunvari
"The Goddess held forth a small box to the architect. Within, he found what seemed to be a regular compass. 'Perhaps try focusing on the completion of your goal rather than the time you are expending in its pursuit. Thinking about the time you expend wastes more of it.' Before the architect could question her, Lunvari had already returned to her writing, and he knew better than to disturb her."

Lunvari is the oldest of the Four Divinities and is generally considered to be the most powerful as well. She is also the author of all official Temple texts, effectively making her the leader and founder of the Temple faith as we know it. According to Temple doctrine, not only is Lunvari the oldest of the four, but she is also the first to awaken every time the Four return. In most cases, she acts as the leader of the Four, but it is unclear whether or not that is an official position, or simply one she assumed as the eldest.
Of the Four, Lunvari is regarded as the least friendly, not because she is malevolent or cruel but because she prefers solitude. However, when she does interact with others, she is known to be incredibly blunt. People usually attribute her frankness to the importance she places on honesty, but some think it stems from an unspoken feeling of superiority. While this has gained Lunvari a reputation for being unfriendly, it has also spurred many to take their questions to her instead of looking elsewhere, since she will almost always answer questions directly and concisely.

In terms of power, Lunvari easily takes first place among the Four. Controlling the sphere of time, light and knowledge, she is more than capable of manipulating things to her advantage. She can fashion items from beams of light, though it's very rare that she does, and most information is easily available to her. In regards to time, she does not have the power of manipulation. Instead, Lunvari has a thorough understanding of the nature and flow of time, though the full extent of her understanding is unknown.
When in her corporeal form, Lunvari appears as a woman with long, white hair, pale skin and bright, blue eyes. Unlike the other Three, who tend to appear in only two or three outfits, she seems to have several ensembles she switches between. Most commonly, however, she is seen dressed in pale, blue robes and a brass circlet.

Part 3 coming soon-ish...
