A quick note before reading
---
This isn't just a post for recruitment, it's also an info sheet on Althuan and a personal thank you to everyone involved in it.

Description
---
Althuan is the capital of the woodland realm, being inhabited by the elves of Kalros. These people live in harmony and peace whilst at home, however, they will not hesitate to wage war on those that threaten their homeland. The woodland elves are ruled by the crown Maxy Meeto, and formerly Alduien Stormborn. (Before her majesty went on an expedition with a small squadron to found a new elven settlement named Mirkwood.)

Race and relationships with Valinor
---
Despite the elves of Althuan mainly being composed of the Silvan race, they originally started out in Valinor, living mutually with the Vanyarin elves before their clashing morals and ideas on the Covenant resulted in tensions arising. Such an event lead to Queen Alduien leaving Valinor with her followers in order to maintain their neutral stance with the Vanyarin elves. Even though each Elven house is independent, most elves will not hesitate to stick up for their kin and even protect them as their own in times of need.

The Althuan Guard
---
Althuan is home to a prestigious military unit, commonly known as the Althuan Guard. Not only are they responsible for keeping the city safe from outsiders, but also serve as bastions of peace inside the towering walls. They are native's to the land, who will not hesitate to show their pride for the city; even if it means using a sword to show of it. In order to join, one must undergo a week's worth of training, primarily composed of verbal one to one lessons and in addition; vigorous combat training (consisting of mock tgen fights).

Customs
---
It is appreciated to address those with respected titles such as Lord, Guard and especially King. For example, "Hello your majesty." or "How is your day my Lord." In addition to this, all members must share a mutual respect for wolves as they saved Queen Alduien, who found herself under a hail of arrows from undead abominations whilst building the walls. The wolves aggressively attacked her majesty's assailants and assured her safety.

Althuan's story-based quests
---
Althuan possesses a series of work in progress, story-based quests which aim to keep members busy and offer an easy method of acquiring prestige. The first batch of quests will involve the player running around Althuan trying to locate clues to piece together the location of a fugitive that's loose in town. Unfortunately, most quests mainly involve visiting different areas scattered around Althuan and unfortunately do not actually contain any PvE elements such as fighting a bandit npc. :(

I hope now you know a little bit more about Althuan and how it works. Please we need your help, let us know if you're interested in joining. Also a big thank you goes to Alduien for helping me write this. Have a good day and Go Forth!
