What is the story behind the Dome?
Where is it?
Who was building it?
Why wasn't it finished?

Considering how much you try to poke fun at me about this, I would be surprised if you didn't already know these things.

The dome is over Central City. It was built by me, spunkiethefirst, Zor95, and computern. It wasn't finished because the sheer size of it took an inordinate amount of time and resources, things that very few people are willing to give.

As for the story behind it...

Computern appointed me head of defence in Central directly after it was founded. I supervised our defence against countless raids, and utterly failed in my efforts to protect the computernite people. After many of my friends and comrades had quit, I proposed that we build a massive glass dome over the city, to be covered with water or lava upon completion. I also wanted to name it "Guddrassil", or "Crown of Gud", as I took inspiration to build it from his "Aerial Cannon Strikes". Spunkiethefirst started the project for us and made several layers himself, as well as providing us with the blueprints for the rest. Out of all the computernites, I was the only one who could read the blueprints, so I had to do it all myself at that point. I eventually managed to get Computern to understand some of the blueprints, but his ability to read them was limited, and he didn't want to work on the dome anyway. At that point I had an impossibly huge project entirely on my shoulders, so I turned to quite literally the only other person on the server capable of helping me; Zor. With his help we did make a fair amount of progress, and eventually got almost halfway to the ground. Eventually though, he left, and with central's abandonment at Computern's hands, the project was left unfinished.

I stand by my decision to build the dome to this day, and if Central had endured, perhaps we could have finished it. What was built of it now stands as a monument to the resolve of our nearly extinct people, and as a reminder of past hardships.

can we post the blue prints? I do believe that the dome should remain unfinished at this point

also, months ago I was digging around Central and I found two double chests of glass there....I may have stolen it <,< >,>

"The Dome wasn't finished", has become a catch phrase on Loka but it was Comp who originally said it in a Skype call. At the time we were discussing the history of the server and the fall of central and capital.
