The first capitals of the New World will be doled out tonight promptly at 8pm server time. This is an automated thing and doesn't start "late" (like when I wait for a few more people to log on).

Unfortunately not all the policies are ready for those who become capital yet, but rest assured we are working on those very things right now. So, over the coming days, expect lots of updates pertaining to capitals.

Regardless, the 'celebration' of capitals will be ready for tonight.

This of course means that if you wish to attempt to vie for capital, you have 7 hours as of right now!

Perhaps I'm just out of the loop but what exactly does your town have to do to qualify as a capital or at least be in the running for it?

Victories through Conquest (ie: attacking and defending TGens) grant you strength and the town or alliance with the highest strength-per-continent becomes capital.
