After a brief read of Epic's story, I decide to come up with my own story, not necessarily based on Loka, but mine will have paragraphs and grammar.

Imagine a world like the fantasy of a dream dreamt by a person with a very wide and vast imagination. Where the continents are divided in into vast landscapes ranging from a lush forest, or Evan some would say a jungle, to a barren, frozen wasteland where view dare tread. Immense oceans with islands that float above accident power ruins that were once filled with energy crystals that have been drained of any energy. Where magma gushes from this planets core and and lava flow like a sluggish river. This place is know as Lycaria, circling a binarys solar system as the forth planet.

In the ancient scripts of Lycaria, this planet was once blessed with civilizations that could manipulate the world around them. In accent times, there were 5 of these empires, Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Tera. Each of these populations lived where the world around them complimented the gifted abilities. For example the Earths' lived deep within the planets core, in a massive hallowed out cavemen that took many centuries to complete. These people were very wealthy, and quite strong in a wars' sense, as they had the best weapons and strongest armour. The Teras' lived in a lush wooded land with towering trees that housed them. Air and Water both lived in the ocean, but in deferent cities they called there own. Airs' created the energy crystals so that only a Air could reach the city. The Waters' dwelled deep in the oceans, inside thick domes forged from crystal.
The Fires' were the most feared and powerful of all the empires, being that they had the abilities to control fire itself, they were the most aggressive in times of war and in peace.

Soon the Fires' broke a newly made peace treaty that would end all war in the future, but only a few short months in the hight of summer, a attack on the Earths' was made and the civilizations was brought to its knees, with a massive amout a damage in its wake, the once noble Earth Nation was desroyed into a lava lake the engulfed the entire city and flooded the mines, killing hundreds. The Fire Nations next move was to breach the dome of the Water Nations main city, but mineing tunnels under the stone and under the edge of the dome, setting up explosives that made short work of the dome, having it crumble and cave in.
Next was the Airs', the original plan was to remove the crystals, but the island aphad remaind floating for do long that Lycaria's Ora would support it for eternity and beyond. There next form of attack was to flood them out using the surviving Waters' throught steams of water far above the island. Soon after the Fire burnt down the forests of the Teras', leaving only roots and charcoal.

To be continued.

BTW, I forgot to mention what the Tera element was, in Latin, Tera means Earth, so instead of saying plant, I said Tera.

With that massive geniside that the Fires' brought with their brutal attacks, many of the other elements were nearly wiped off the face of Lycaria, the remaining surviers, were enslaved to build the new empire. They building took over 150 to complete, with the dwindling numbers becoming fewer each day. A grand palace was built for the emperor, along with smaller, but still grand homes for higher class Fires', and so on to the shack like wooden huts that the slaves dwelled in we're located near the dump and graveyard.

For many years the empire thrived, but the new laws caused a great shift in Lycaria's way of being. A new law was set in that no element who was not gifted by a fire symbol at birth, (at birth a mark is found somewhere on the child's body in the symbol of the element in which they are gifted with) are to never use the abilities, ever. But Evan with death penalty put in place, in order to preserve their elements from extinction, those who still possessed a symbol were trained by elders in sercret, late in the safe hours of night.

On a moonless night, the slaves, both gifted and nomad (no elemental abilities), even Fires' who wanted equality and rebelled against the emperor, escaped the empire through a series of escape tunnels mined out under the wall by the members of one Earth family. The plan was to move far south to Lycaria's southren most tip, a snow capped island call Cycris. The escape took place on a moonless night, each adult carried a backpack or satchel full of sulpies, such as water, food, seeds, tents, and anything else that is light wait and useful.

The walked continued to the shore of the Mayhart Sea, makeshift boats and rafts were made to travel across the water. After a 6 day voyage, the bitter chill a pack ice told them that they had made it to Cycris, they abandoned the boats and marched the icy plains. Many days of walking, toes, and even fingers were lost, but eventually, a mystrious, small settlement appeared on the horizen, a sixth element.

The new Elementals' were kind, and knowledgeable, the have heard of the Fire Nation, how the broke the treaty. " I am Quabron, the elder of this settlement, we are the Ice Elements' we have lived on Cycris for as long as there was Lycaria. Please, we welcome you, rebuild your strength, eat, we will take you to our main city, we call it Karatha. It is at he centre of Cycris, protected by a dome made of thick ice."

Quabron took the 498 survivors to Karatha, and it was exactly as he said. It was plenty large enough to house all of them, and thousands more. The new empire of mixed culture began, the area was divided into sections that resemble the former empires of the elements. Massive trees were grown, deep lakes were forged, a underground cavern was cleared out, and floating island levitated above the land, near the new dome made of crystal clear diamond layers.

To be continued.

With time did Karartha's population did grow. Before the Fires' attacked and destroyed the empires, there was a great deal of space seperating the elements, like immense stretches of land and vast oceans. Never before did elements live so close to each other. In about 64 years into civilization, a Fire and a Ice elemental fell hopelessly in love with each other. At first their romance was frowned upon, but with the guidance of a elder, the married and had a first mixed element child ever on the face of Lycaria.

This was not the first child born from to opposite elements, at first the children were born inheriting its mothers element, then later on the fathers. About 45 years later a child was born possessing two symbols (when a child is born, a symbol is found somewhere on their body. There is a different symbol for each element, EX: fire=fire, snowflake=ice. If there is no symbol, you have no gift, and are called a nomad child), meaning that they had to gifts, to elements. Sometimes one symbol was larger then the other, a dominant symbol, sometimes they were equal.

On a dark, stormy, winters night, a 7th element was born. The child was born to parents of Earth and Water, with close family relatives of all the remaining elements. The symbol was very strange, it appeared as a crestent moon on top of a tilted star with a small flame emitting from the moon. The element was not named for 6 years after Dellius's birth, when he first tapped into his abilities. Like others, the element was generated from the hands, like orbs of water, or ice. Dellius's hands produced a sphere of pure, purple energy. The element was called Shadow Night, and it lived up to the name. Dellius preferred the dark, and was stronger at night. He had a very short temper, and often solved problems with force.

When his 18th approached fast, his parents feared him the the most. By the word of an old philosopher, his transference sequence will be the fall of Karatha. A transference sequence is at the very moment of his birth, on the day he was born, his juvenile energy is exchange for ancestral energy, which unlocks there full abilities. This can only be done with a ancestor of his element, and being the first Shadow Night, he had no elemental ancestors. The sequence would no complete.

To be continued.

As the philosopher predicted, Delius's transferance sequence was incomplete, his unstable juvenil energy could not escape. He went in to a fit of rage, his entire arms burst into blazes of purple energy. He began destroying everything in sight, and foreign plasma shots at the innocent. But, suddenly, the attack stopped, he seized fire. Turns out a very brave Earth by the name of Barton took a iron spear and stabed Delius in the back, twisted it, cracked his spine, causing him to collapse and die. When he sheer intensity of the situation died down, Barton removed his spear, and muttered "I never did like this one."

Delius's mother approached and pulled back her sons hair, shut his eyes, and kissed him goodbye. "Barton, I don't know what to think, should I be sad my son is dead, glad that this is over, or furious at you that you murdered my son."

"It's okay to have mixed feelings Abarath, how many casualties are there." consulted Barton.

"The emporer is dead!!!"

I the midst of the catastrophe the emporer and his wife were killed, their to sons were gravely injured, and could not take the crown. In result, Barton and his family became the new royals of Karatha, and his first order as king, he made a new law stating that all Shadow nights be slain at birth, to avoid another Wrath of Dellsmite.

To be continued.

Since the new law was passed, 16 new emporers wee crowned, and then royal family was twiced removed. In that time, 7 Shadow Nights were born, and all were slain. All on dark, stormy winters nights, with all elements as close family relatives. Once again, the winter blizzard stormed strong, a loving mixed elemental couple welcomed their first born child. But joy soon fell into soro, as on his right palm, layed the symbol of the Shadow Night. "No, not you, anyone but you. Oh Salcrin, I can't kill him, I won't, it's not fair. His life just began, and I love him to much to take it away."

" Maybe we don't have to take away his life, I have some nomadic relatives who live in a small fish village called Port Town. I write to them often, and they want to adopted a child, mabey they will be willing to take our son, and raise him as if his symbol is just a strange birthmark, and make him believe that he is nomadic."

Salcrin's relatives were more then willing to take in the child. They met up at the ices edge, south of Karatha. "What is his name?" asked his adoptive mother, Heriette.

" Sabin, but that is a Karatha name, he may make a connection." said Abigail.

"What about Sebastian, it's similar, and has no connections to Karatha."

Sabasian's birth parents agreed to the name, handed over their child, with one request, when they think he is ready, to tell him anything he wishes to know about his origin. With that, they parted ways, one on a small ship, the other on a small ice sled. For the years to come, he was raised as of he never had any ablities inside him, as if he was nomadic. The only indicator that he was gifted is that at nigt, his eyes glow purple, but only when he was asleep.

To be continued.

To hide his symbol, his adoptive parents had him whee a. Arepa cuff that had a piece of fabric cover his palm and a loop around his middle finger to keep it in place.

It's was his eighth birthday, once again, he was alone, no friend in site. He went to sleep after his special dinner and cake, like any other birthday. Heriette came into his room about a hour later and sat n the bed beside him. "He's such a kind boy, it's a shame you lost so many friends because of your eyes. They invite you over for a sleep over, your eyes glow, and you come home in tears."

"I don't blame those kids, he's not nomadic, that symbol on his hand is no birthmark. Heriette, Sabastian is not who we raised him to be, Sabastian isn't even his real name." Jalric said to his wife. "He's not a dumb kid, he knows he's different, mabey he would be a good deck hand on me and Skipper's ship."

"Not when he's only eight years old, when he's older."

Older did come for him, he stared working on the pier at 15, but barley 6 years later, he was landing nets full of prize Antarctic Cod. He came home from a eight day fishing trip, and Heriette was waiting for him on the pier. "There's my handsome younge man. How was the fishing."

"The fishing was great, the water was calm, clear skies, gentle winds, and a boat full of some of the nices cod I have ever seen swimming on this water. That reminds me," Sabastian stop and pull a two foot cod wrapped in wax paper out of his duffle bag and handed it to Heriette. "That is one of the nicest fish we caught, I kept is fresh just for you, just don't tell Skipper or Dad where you got it."

She made a promise not to tell and went home. Sabastian left the pier and went to return his book to Mr.Salcree, Port Towns' librarian. "Mr.Salcree, I'm back from my trip."

"Sabastian, I am sure the trip went swell, did you enjoy the book?"

"I did, very enchanting, you really know your books."

"If you enjoyed it so much, how about we make a little deal. The libraries shelves are so full of these old books, I have no more room for the new inventory I have in that big crate, if you help me unload it, you can take all the books you want of my shelves, to keep."

"Sounds like a fair deal."

About half way through the box, Mr.Salcree lifted out a very old, dark purple book with nothing on its covers. He paged through the book, the pages were completely blank. "This is no use to me." He tossed the book towards the fire as if he was going to use it for kindling. The book passed through a the light of a window, a small slit like shawdow was form do to the dividers, in Sabastian's perspective, the book lit up and elaborate text in silver, but it went away when it landed next to the fire.

A half hour later, they finished filling the shelves, Sabastian took home over 25 books. "Before you go, would you mind putting a little more wood in the fire, i have a feeling in my old bones that it is going to be. A chilly night."

"Sure thing." As he put the wood in the fire, he picked up the mysterious book from the floor and put it in his duffle bag while Salcree wasn't looking. He left with a smile and a hunger for fresh cod prepared by the best cook he knew, his mother.

After the wonderful meal he Sabastain and his dad went back to the pier to clean and salt their catch. They were up till around 2 am, and when they did get home, they had to sleep outside as Heriette didn't want her house to stink like fish. The next morning was clear and calm. Sabastain went down to the rocky part of the beach, where the shore was littered with small costal caves. The one cave that he enjoyed the most as a child was the cave facing to the west, a large cave that opens to a vast cave system. The entrance was smooth because the lapping waves have worn the rough rock away.

He sat in the sun at first, resting the mysterious book in his lap. The book was blank, "I don't understand, I swear I saw something on the cover." He flipped through the pages and the was nothing there as well. He through the book deeper into the cave, and it lit up with a purple ring which gave it the same embellishment as before. He scorched over to the book and picked it up. The once plain cover was now covered with silver marking and a ornate title that read, "The Legend of Karatha; Wrath of the Shadow Night." Below the title was a strange sumbol that ways very familiar to Sabastaian. He removes the loop around his middle finger and revealed the birthmark on his hand. The symbol on the book was al its identical to the one on his hand. In shock, he then opened the book to fing script on its pages, it read.

"To read these words written by ancient ink and feather, one must look beyond all reason, and look through the mists of reality, where few dear tread. The symbol on this book, a book only few can see, is one of the Shadow Night. One of the many elements that make up Lycaria, by far the rarest of the all, a element so powerful, it's feared by many. This is the tale of the many who died, are the survivors of all who now thrive in the safety of Karatha's walls."

Basically, the book told Sabastian of the Karatha, and Lyaria's blood shed past. It explained in deep depth, by the words of a pliosopher, who Sabastain really was, that his birthmark was more then that. He had great powers inside him, and he felt he needed to apfind out who he really was. The book also mentioned the Transferance Sequence, how the first Shadow Night was enable to complete his, but some how, he did. It also said that during the exchange, using black scrolls, a accident conjuring of thievery, the accident energy could be stolen from the body, taking both the elemental's abilities, and final breath.
