The NPCs in the industry buildings

I managed to mis-click on the Digger NPC and have my everyday sword de-lored which was just the kills.

That's not a big deal since I get 50 kills daily, but it did get me thinking about why they're here. At the moment it doesn't really seems like they have a purpose that couldn't be moved to a single NPC at spawn. I just wanted to toss a post out to see what ideas people might have for what to do with them. My first two thoughts were
-placing material like diamond and sticks in the miners invin that they use to refill the input chest with picks every so often. (Con being admins like ppl logging in to do that sorta thing)
or
-paying the NPC to achieve a higher efficiency in their industry in the same fashion as the t gens. Where you'd ask the guy what he needs every [insert time period] to increase production/increase chance of favorable product like gold/dia and he says he needs 64 Beetroots or pumpkins etc. (Could increase trade for non-military purposes)

Just a quick thought I had about those NPCs. If you have a thought on what they could be used for drop it in the reply and maybe we can make it happen :D Thanks for the read o/

Also maybe a confirmation message before they delore your thing ;D

A confirmation message to remove the lore could be really annoying for some people. In my case i use the npc to clear the Cincia tag from the things the industries produce, so its easier to stack them (and i think thats the main porpouse for those NPC's), and it would be really annoying when i delore lots of stacks.

Let the NPCs have a the destiny they were meant for!
In all honesty though it would be wayyy cooler to have your npcs do something other than clearing lore. Especially with these new people I get in my town they always ask me what do the npcs in the industries do and I always have to say "They clear lore off of your items" and then they are saying stuff like "well that's not useful/that's pretty bland".
New players are generally either really positive about everything or really negative about everything anyways. The only downside I can see to this is that it could possibly take a lot more server tps than what they do right now, and right now they still take a lot. Removing them and putting one deloring one at spawn if you don't want to give them more things would probably make the tps a ton better.
