The obelisk

One night only a few people were on. Andre, Santahat, Lea, Cia, Pard and I. I was inside my Dragon Temple in my town. We all got a message in grey.
"A chill runs down your spine."
Andre suggested we all return to spawn. We all did, exept Pard. I had to travel through the nether since I didn't have a town portal yet, and while I was on my way, andre and Lea reported explosians. Lea also went to check on the artifact above spawn. She then said that it was part glowstone. You know how its normally obsidion? Well, now it was slowly becoming glowstone. When I got there, I too heard the explosons. Anyways, this is a differnt story, I can tell later. But the artifact brought over some Obelisk. (At the end of "The Crisis", as I called it, we got another messge in gray, which said "...Obelisk"). A few days later, someone found this weird thing. (I think Psy found it, I'm not too sure.) We called it the Device, until we relized it was the Obelisk. When you get near it, a blue message says "You feel uneasy", and you get slow and stuff. Other people said that your vision changes, but not mine. You'll have to ask other people. Someohow, it has begun spreading mycilum everywhere, and it also randomly hurts us. Will the whole world become mycilum? What else will obelisk do to us? These questions have yet to me answered.

I dunno if you guys know, but there's a book under the obelisk, left by a stranger who seems to have crashlanded his escape pod and died there.

edit: I found it..I put a few copies at spawn
Has anyone else noticed that not everyone gets damage at the same time? it seems to come in waves....and going near the Obelisk can trigger it to start.
