I was banned at the beginning of 2023 for being racist and harassing members of the turkish community. I am deeply ashamed of this as I have realised that I had said things that affected a lot of people. My ban was regarding an event that happened in Turkey that led to the deaths of many people. I give my deepest condolences to anyone who was effected by the earthquake and my words regarding it. I deeply regret the negative impact that I have had on the community of LokaMC.
I have reached out to many members of the Turkish community in an attempt to reconcile with them. Many of whom did not respond to me, which I can't blame them after what I have said. I am deeply sorry for my actions leading up to and after my ban that have resulted in me getting my ban and maintaining it. I hope that the members and staff of LokaMC can start to forgive me as they see my behaviour and how it has changed since my ban. I would like to thank the member of the turkish community that have allowed me to show how my behaviour has changed and I hope that others will be able to show me the same level of gratitude.
Reflecting on my behavior, I realize how my words can impact those around me. I never intended to hurt anyone, but I understand that intentions don’t change the reality of my actions. The thought that I contributed to a negative experience for others truly saddens me. I’ve always valued the sense of friendship that LokaMC fosters, and knowing that I jeopardized that makes me feel terrible. I feel as though I have learnt from this experience and it has allowed me to grow as a person. I believe I should have a chance at being unbanned as I have taken the chance to reflect on my actions and the impact that they have on others. I have been and am genuinely committed to changing my behaviour to allow me to contribute positively to the server. Being a part of LokaMC's community means a lot to me and I would appreciate if the community could give me the opportunity to prove to everyone that I can become a better member of the community going forward.
