Implement in Future Trade Chat

I believe that if you implement Trade Chat into Loka people can advertise their stuff without clogging the public chat and make sure they are doing whatever they can do to sell their stuff on market! And I suggest if people get too bored about this chat they can just turn if off and on at /ch settings. I am open to any comments that can improve the system or any critism about this.

I would prefer if we did just billboards around Aladra and docks that you could pay to post map art to on a daily basis. Because everyone will eventually just turn it off, making the feature all but useless as he point of it is to advertise, and you can't advertise to people who can't see your advertisement.

If you right click the billboard, people will get to see a custom message from you advertising if they want more info.

Billboards can also have a reduced price if it's just a colored sign.

But I think the chat feature would be good, if it didn't require spamming of the advertisement every 5 or so minutes. And that's just not fun fun listen to/or moderate. Of course, I may be perfectly wrong, but I shall await for the FoxLad to yell at me once more about how I'm smooth brained and this will work

What happens when people decide to use it for non advertisements...

In all seriousness I do like the idea of a trade chat but would rather see it as a discord channel or an additional market feature where you can post up a /trade sale you'd like to make in exchange for something from the other person, although it's pretty redundant all things considered with how the market currently works.

I prefer in game trade chat but if you think that it would be hard to moderate i am willing to have trade chat at discord as well but from what i understand we are all on the same page about trade chat

Yeah, I hate to say it but this sounds like a lot of extra moderation. I'm already pretty against people advertising in chat simply because they fail to grasp their advertising in chat makes very little difference and instead of accepting that they often will spam similar or the exact same messages to draw more attention.

I think having something like in game notifications for market activity could be cool. E.g. 'PashaSlash put 45 Stacks of Gunpowder on the market!'

EDIT: I think it would be smart to have this be an opt in service on interacting with the specific markets via chat pop up.

Maybe when you're in the market chat notifications pop up for new sales? Couple this with an auction house and you'd pretty much have what I think we're looking for here.

You pay some shards to have it advertised in the chat when you put it up for sale, maybe at intervals, or just once. Also maybe make it that lore names don't get announced so you don't have to deal with someone putting something inappropriate on it, like instead of the lore name it will just say Diamond Sword or whatever.

That seems pretty good idea to me tbh

-1 just check the market channel in the discord
The idea of having market is that you can advertise your staff no matter how much time it passed since you put it into market e.g I put something in a market like 2 weeks ago and no one needed it then someone need that item and They dont know how to use market system so They couldnt find but if i make an advertisement He can say wow i need this how do i get it and then we can teach him how to get it my point is it is simplier and easier for newbies too
