CITResewn developer is taking his time as usual, and judging by his GitHub, it looks like the 1.21.8 update won't be coming out anytime soon. So I found an alternative: Variants-CIT. It's a little more complicated, but at least it gets updated on time.
I'm sharing my CIT package with you, so now you can customize your kb2 swords as you like. Details are below.
First Downalnd varitants cit mod 1.21.8 and open the texture pack you are going to customize assest>minecraft upload the file I sent you here put minecraft file its gonna be models texture and variants cits files Variants CIT
Second click models upload the file I sent you here item rar
Third click textures>item>make a folder diamond_sword and put ur sword.png and change ur sword.png name to knockback and done! if u cant do dm me ill help everyone
