Suggestion Visible Tile Borders

Whether it's flying across Garama, then suddenly dropping to the ground because you accidentally crossed into enemy territory, trying to find the border of your town so you don't build outside of it, or any other means, not being to see visible borders of tiles is a bit of a pain. I feel that there should be a toggleable option, at least when flying with an elytra, to be able to see clear borders. To my knowledge, this is not a feature, and the only zone borders you can see are town zones, and that's just one at a time. This would make navigation a lot easier, deciding if you want a town on a tile or if the borders are inconvenient, and maybe a few other things I can't think of right now. I would really appreciate if something to this extent was added.

Maybe something that says "You're 100 blocks away from a Territory(or town)" could be cool if it gets implemented

Tbf it tells you that even if you're not close to it

The point is it should be easier to tell exactly where this territory is, and where you will be dropped if you cross. Especially for elytra flight where you can't see the ground. It's just a bit of a quality of life change I feel.

I was thinking a thin wall of colored particles, sort of like a grid, so it's visible but not killing fps.
that would likely strain server performance more than beacon beams and not show on the minimal particles setting

the beacon beams could be every 5 blocks or so because they're easiest to see

Iirc we tried to use beacon beams in the elytra race and couldn't figure out a way to do it other than to literally place down a beacon in the world. Either way, I don't think it'd be worth the strain on the server. A simple message or something would be fine I think (maybe an option in /here?).

how bad were the glowing blocks in the elytra race performance-wise? maybe those could help mark out the borders of towns because as it stands, messages don't help navigate around them at all

Me and other Devs are really just creating third hand information, flying is hazardous but equally baby proofed imo.

I've died to server lag dropping me inside of walls and giving me fall damage too many times to count, just make it a red stained glass wall when you get near it like industries do when you place them
