In the currently implementation of void storage only one person can access an inventory at any time and this can prove to be a problem in larger towns when preparing for fights as getting potions out of void storage chests can take a lot of time. Because of this towns can build chest walls that utilize many chests and hoppers to have stash of potions outside of void storage to make rearming easier.
What I propose is this: a void storage withdrawl hopper.
This hopper would function by acting very similarly to regular hoppers, except that it would be able to directly pull items out of the void storage system, as an access itself, but wouldn’t interact with the blocks above itself (can’t accept materials).
To combat excessive lag, or potential for item duplication due to multiple forces withdrawing items from a storage system at once I would propose that this hopper would continue to operate at a reduced hopper speed, perhaps even slower than the hoppers that already exist in the world since it would always be unlocked. Additionally, you could make it so that before it can withdraw items from the void storage network it instead checks to see if it’s being accessed by a player, and if the network is then it ceases activity until that item is no longer being accessed.
This could also lead to lead to machines like auto brewers, auto smelters, and more, being able to be designed with fewer hoppers, improving server performance. If that is undesirable then you could limit to work only with specific items, like completed potions. (Splash Regen 2 for instance)
