No Plans to Implement vuln

it's definitely not easy for anyone to be available 8hrs out of the day. however shortening the vuln time creates new complications so i came up with an idea.

what if you could create a prime vulnerability time, so like 3hrs or something out of the 8 where you know your town/alliance is more likely to be available and if someone attacks and wins during that timeframe they'll gain a bit more strength than they would've attacking any other time. this could allow for more even fights and allow for people to show up even with their busy schedules. it could especially be cool if strength is super close and you need that little extra bit to get you over the line resulting in a fight where both teams carries are present (not that it doesn't already happen now but usually on weekends).

I think this is easily abusable by using a meme vuln and then setting your ‘prime time’ very late / early for other timezones and on top of that I don’t think it’s necessary because there haven’t been close conquest months for the past 6 months

Obviously the server will have to create the Prime Time automatically every Vuln Session (at the start), since it can be abused by players, also would have to be updated every day.

Also I recommend it's for active players only, as if a bunch of inactive dude come online, it could mess with it.

Basically saying this is too flexible imo, players habits can change on a whim, which makes it very difficult to plan an attack. Also I recommend if the player loses, they also lose a large amount. You win some, you lose some.

Otherwise decent suggestion, just doesn't seem like a lot of gain for the amount of resources it would take imo. But idk, if someone named Sparky___ could come up and educate us about the backend stuff, we'd love to hear it.

it has to be in your 8hr vuln?

feels like everyone who commented so far just hasn't read it properly, its 3hrs WITHIN your current vuln that you know your team is more available. Winning an attack during the defenders prime vuln time grants you more strength than you would've gotten outside of their prime time.

I know but my point is that I don’t think it will lead to more even fights because your vulnerability window is still 8 hours and it makes it more complicated with players that share different timezones within their own alliance

people already coordinate their attacks based on the majority timezone and reaction announcements?

the 8hr vuln is already based off when majority people can show? the 3hr window within it is to accommodate even more people? by encouraging people to place during that window for more strength gain

I like the idea, but my concern is that it could be cheesed just because of how timezones work.

If you were on a continent where the majority of who you were fighting was in Europe and your majority was west coast couldn't you just try and make your hours like 4am or so?

I think the whole reason that the vulnerability hours are as big as they are is to create scenarios in which many timezones would have overlapping activity hours.

I really do like the suggestion for sure, I just fear it might be used by people in ways not intended.

even if people don't use it to allow more of their members to show, attacking outside of that 3hr vuln would have the same effect it does right now so

Really interesting idea. However it would incentivize people to not be in alliances with people from different places/countries. That is one of the most unique aspects of Loka, the wide range of people you meet. The 8 hour vuln encourages meeting new people, due to that I think that it would overall be a bad idea to implement.

make vuln time shorter on weekdays for example instead of 8 hours its 6 hours so you just take off 1 hour so if your vuln is 3pm to 11 pm it becomes 4pm to 10 pm only on weekdays though on weekends its back to normal
