The Warden of Asgard gave his command to the people assembled around the Artifact. "Go forth!" he proclaimed, seized by some strange enthusiasm. The Slicers looked around at one another, excited, but also greedy and calculating. Now, they knew, they had been empowered with the ability to claim the world for themselves, in ways previously unheard of.. and each of them wanted the biggest slice for themselves.
Weeks later, skirmishes began to break out between the forces of Arcadia and FKA in the north. Not long afterwards, FKA's neighbor and ally, Avarice, joined the fray in FKA's defense. These battles were small, and often one side seized the other's territory without encountering any defenders. Both sides sought to claim the most territory of all of Loka's cities and claim dominance, and their proximity and martial prowess had marked them as foes.
To the south, the city of Unknown, led by its joint rulers CrazyNinjaCow23 and AdoptedMexican27, also expanded its territory, and enjoyed a relative state of peace due to a lack of unruly neighbors. However, this did not last. FKA sought to maintain the largest expanse of territory of any city, and so it began to made raids on Unknown's territory. CrazyNinjaCow23 recognized that he and Arcadia shared a common enemy, and so they resolved to form an alliance against the Outlaw powers rising in the north.
To share in their alliance, they sought two other cities, neither of whom had yet claimed territory, but both of whom had their qualms with FKA and Avarice. Dragostei had split from FKA generations past, and old wounds remained fresh in the minds of those kept alive by the power of the Artifact. Citadel was the most recent in a long line of Computern towns stretching back across the ages, and their conflict with the Outlaws was ancient legend. With a bit of diplomacy, both eventually agreed to join the alliance, with Unknown at the front of the pack. The pact itself they called the Gallente Alliance; it's goal, to put an end to FKA and Avarice's rapid territorial expansion.
The four leaders of the alliance convened to plan their initial assault, coined "Operation First Strike". CrazyNinjaCow23, FatPoulet, Artagan Antioch, and Ivette Aramis. Cowman, Chickenman, Pigman, and Dragostei's Warrior Queen. When they were done, they had drawn up the plans for kickstarting the greatest conflict since the War of the Third Age.
First, they marshaled their forces in the Nether, and utilized it's labyrinthian tunnels in order to significantly hasten their journey to FKA for the initial assault. Before that, however, they posed for a glorious group photo.
Once they arrived at FKA, they found the place deserted. No doubt the inhabitants were out claiming more territory, or else trying to attack someone else's. Little did they realize that the greatest army in Lokan history had assembled on their doorstep.
A message was then sent to their FKA foes in their form of their collective bare tooshies:
After their photo op, the troops divided into squads. The first and most numerous squad was led by Artagan, and his own town members Leasaur, Ronshaud, and Steelerfan12345 followed him into battle to wrest a territory generator out from under FKA. The second squad was comprised of CrazyNinjaCow23, GoldenShark, and IdkJohn, and they too assaulted one of FKA's territory generators in force. The third squad, with the most adept warriors and seasoned soldiers, was comprised of FatPoulet, Ivette Aramis, and CrewSoulReaper.
For hours, all three squads fought long and hard to take down their respective targets, and in the end, after many deaths, resurrections, and damaged pieces of armor, all succeeded. Near the end of the initial battle, Cryptite appeared to observe the melee, and seemed satisfied with the ferocity of their efforts. After the last generator was destroyed, the combined Gallente Alliance used a beacon to retreat to Citadel, and from there dispersed to their own towns after a well deserved rest.
Later that night, the remainder of the Gallente alliance rallied around one final FKA territory generator, determined to deal one more blow before the night was done. Blood was spilled and armor tarnished, but in the end, a fourth generator exploded into the night sky.
A new great war has fallen upon Loka like a shadow to some, and a new dawn to others. The sound of battle rings across the land for all to hear. Harken to it.
