It was minutes before battle and the members of Nassau were preparing, then they had a thought...
Wouldn't it be nice if towns could agree to waive the 60 minute inhibitor startup time, if they both were ready for the fight to begin?
So that is what this suggestion is about. Creating a feature to allow the towns involved in a fight to waive the 60 minute long inhibitor startup. Of course, there are a few criteria we came up with that we thought would help keep this idea grounded in some logic.
Stipulations:
-Both sides have to agree.
-Has to be agreed to in the first 30 minutes of the inhibitor warm up otherwise the normal startup continues.
-Upon being agreed to, the inhibitor will jump to a 15 minute startup.
-Has to be done by the main owners of the respective towns.
-Message pops up in /c status, click on the attack to bring up a pop up in chat, click okay, then click a second confirmation message.
-Can only be done if the respective town owners are online, so that each town knows that one town is willing to waive the time.
One concern about potential cheese with this feature, the idea that one town owner in an alliance (or not in one) could agree to this waive to aid the attacking/defending town, would hopefully fall under the win-trading rule.
Please share your potential concerns (or excitement) about this idea, as we struggled to come up with any more potential issues other the one noted above. Or if you think something should be tweaked, feel free to share your thoughts.
