It's basic minecraft to just watch your tools durability. This is too much of an easy mode addition.

While Loka is very custom and complex, we don't always look to add a feature just for the sake of a feature. This really is a sort of "basic understanding of Minecraft" behavior.

Further, Loka's economy suffers when nobody ever loses/breaks anything they ever use, and it's part of the natural cycle of Minecraft that you have to craft new things to replace old ones.

You're completely right, Loka is far from Minecraft. However, you're wrong in what sense it is. Loka tries to enhance Minecraft, not try to make things even simpler than Minecraft has already done.

You could accomplish this with a resource pack. Just replace the texture of tools with a low durability with one that flashes red or something.
