Which rank I am applying for: Sentry

What I think is expected of this rank: Sentries should be players who have a passion for the server and want to see it grow. They should be individuals who create a welcoming environment for new players. Sentries must have a good understanding of the server and its mechanics in order to answer questions and help new players. On top of this, they should be able to maintain the server’s rules and keep the chat a friendly place. By maintaining the more basic rules of the server, Sentries play an important role in making Loka run smoothly.

Why I think I should become this rank: I believe that I should be Sentry because I have a massive amount of passion for Loka which has led me to spend a lot of time on the server interacting with the community. With the amount of experience that I have on the server I believe that I am qualified to fulfill the role of Sentry. I enjoy helping new players understand all the vast mechanics of the server and want to be able to help Loka more. As an active member of the forums and Loka discord I believe that I have a good understanding of the rules of the server and how they are usually enforced. I am a relatively flexible person when it comes to dealing with issues so I feel I would be able to fit the criteria needed for a good Sentry.

When I started playing on the server: December 7th 2014, most actively in the past year.

Time zone: PST

How often I play (hours a day/week): Around 20 hours a week. (It's actually been a LOT more during the summer, probably more like 40, but of course that will decrease when school comes around) :)

Have played with Xlan for over a year, and I can vouch for him being a great candidate for Sentry. Knows the server inside and out, active within the community, and is a kind and friendly member of the server. Can't see anything else that would make him better for the role. Good luck! +1
 
What a guy, he's welcoming, likes interacting with people when he can, super active like holy Heck get a life n3rd, he's down to earth and a proper human, but he can also be serious when it's wanted/needed. I'd trust him to be a good chat mod
 
+1 he is a pretty cool lad, and is a very fun person to be around and always supports new players and is a great members of the loka minecraft network
 
Well in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking at this matter in a different way and without fighting and by trying to make it clear, Xlan is literally the BEST player and human being you would ever meet, he’s always positive, and funny at all times. With him as a sentry, you could literally never go wrong. I have known him ever since my first day on Loka, and he is probably the friendliest player I’ve met throughout my 8-7 Years on MC.

Should have posted this a bit ago but I have personally known Xlan almost literally all 4 years of my journey on Loka. I can't remember a time where we weren't in a town together. Great guy and a very personable person who is very knowledged in the rules and requirements. Very dedicated to Loka as a whole, and shows an active interest in improving the server as it progresses.
