The idea is that people should be aloud to lock and unlock doors in a certain area with out being able to break blocks. I don't have any real in depth situations just saying it would be nice for some build seccurity.

You could achieve this by merely making a zone that's just 2x1 (the two door blocks) and then setting the member levels you want to be able to lock/unlock that door.

Crypts correct, just make a zone called Door_1 and zone it to lvl 1 or something, I even add a title that says "shift click" so it teaches new members how to lock/unlock :D

Having to zone a single door is tedious and janky. I think this idea should be expanded to allow setting a bunch of different flags (similar to world guard l), like doors, enderpearls, and chest usage.

I do not disagree. We'll file this under the Quality of Life update in the near future.
