1.9 comes out next thursday

The pre-release is out now and apparently:

We are currently planning to release the final version of Minecraft 1.9 next week, on Thursday, 25th of February 2016.

As always, this is the time where we remind you guys that we can't update until Spigot does and usually they're several weeks, even a month+ before they've got an acceptable version released that supports 1.9. Equally, then we have to wait for the more critical other plugins to release 1.9 versions. Usually things are cut for awhile, things like Pets, Chairs ( :C ), etc that aren't vital to the Loka experience and can be reactivated later.

Since the 'new' End will in fact be new to most players (provided they aren't heavy snapshot users), this could be fine. I could have seen making the 4th continent encompass bits of the end, but it's such an otherworldly place anyway that it's probably better served being in its own domain. And then that's just easier for me. Also having the dragon be respawnable gives some nice replayable PvE encounters for people, especially considering that's how you get Elytras in the first place.

X_Cav has always been one to make history. First with his part in The Reach, later the Rift. Then, with rise in pvp from Camelot. Now with this forum post, loka's first copypasta.

First off, I don't have very much time to play video games and I have enjoyed Loka too much to half ass it in conquest. That's why I've been pretty inactive as of recently. As for me "quitting" I fundamentally do not fit in the category that crypt wants this server to be about. There are 2 types of pvp that exits right now and are popular. HCF and UHC, both are played in 1.7. Crypt wants Loka to have a survival and build aspect so he doesn't get those players to join this server. Instead we get players that have never done any PvP and Loka is their first time. Because of this, a system must be in place to help these players succeed and have fun, they are the audience that crypt wants. I don't fit in that audience and I don't want to play 1.9 where I can't dominate PvP the way I used to. I think 1.9 will be great for Loka but I will not be enjoying the server when that is in place. I also feel like my time on Loka has finished, in the end I accomplished everything I wanted to accomplish. Camelot got stomped by argus and pearl showed me how good a player can be at PvP. I was inspired and driven to get better at this game and in the end I had the success that I wanted to have. I knew that after December I wouldn't be active, I tried really hard to be world capital to prove to everyone that I could do it, but mainly to prove it to myself. I was able to become the opposite of what I was in Camelot, and without Loka I wouldn't have any of the friends that I have today. I wouldn't be good at PvP without Loka and if I wasn't good at PvP I wouldn't be in any of the factions that I am in right now. Loka is literally the reason I have friend groups for playing this game. On that note, adios and thanks to everyone that helped me and was nice to me. Also thanks crypt for the server. Peace
