What you think is expected of position:
A Loka Community Representative is exactly that, someone who must represent the community as a whole. I believe that being communicative, open-minded and respectful are essential qualities for the role, as well as being mature enough to recognize the responsibilities towards the staff, and towards the playerbase befalling upon you. At its core, I firmly believe being a Lokan LCR is being a bridge between the wants/needs of the players, and those who make them possible.
Why you think players should support you:
I believe myself to be an overall approachable, honest and respectful person. I try my best to avoid arguments, and am often told I am one of the more relaxed and friendly players in the communities I play with. However, I won't pretend to be an angel either. I have had my fair share of incidents, and while I have never been permanently banned or muted, I do think I crossed lines at times. I am thankful, however that almost all of these past happenings have since been resolved amicably. I have the ability to think critically about myself and the decisions I have taken, and am always open to advice and debate. I will happily engage in discussions with anyone who I might disagree with, to eventually find compromises, something I find primordial for the role of community representative.
Throughout my time on Loka, I have gotten to know players from every possible side there is on the server. I have played in many different alliances, often playing on both sides of the same conflict (over separate months ofc), as a solo town, and have also led my own alliances. I have achieved unexpected victories, but more often than not, crushing defeats (the Kalros/Balak campaigns for those who know). All of this has allowed me to develop a very broad view of the conquest aspect of Loka, a quality I truly treasure and try to keep away of any personal biases. While I am not a reference in the topic, I believe I will be able to understand, empathize with, and communicate any concern players might have.
(oh and if it helps, I am fluent in french and english + am very close to the japanese and korean communities)
When you started playing on the server:
I first joined in July of 2021, and experienced sporadic activity from there. At the time, personal stuff + my timezone did not allow me to really engage and participate on the server as much as I would have liked to. I really started to play Loka when my friends and I created a town in May 2022, and from there got to really know the server, eventually reaching "peak" activity for the past 2 (almost 3) years.
(Optional) A category within Loka you'd like to represent (Building, PvP, Story, etc):
While I truly do enjoy the world-building (and builds themselves!) of Loka, I think the story side of the server has long been inactive. The category of players I would like to represent are those who aren't the greatest at PvP, and thus feel pushed to the sidelines in conquest, among other things. I would love to discuss new roles / new features to eventually implement that would broaden the conquest skillset, especially since plans to advertise the server at a larger scale have been announced (aka influx of noobs like me).
Time zone: CET (GMT + 2)
How often do you play (hours a day/week):
It really varies based on the activity of the month, but I will definitely clock in for my daily Loka shifts
(more seriously I'll most likely be online for like an hour/two daily, and 5-6 in times of heavy activity (like big fights / my town runs out of everything))
Hope to see a positive response from you guys!
