I'm 404Lucas, and this is my third ban appeal. It's been almost two years since my ban for hate speech (I was banned on March 8th, 2024). If you are interested, you can read my previous appeal here: https://forums.lokamc.com/threads/404lucas-unban-appeal-2.10337/
So, I'll start by responding to what was said in reply to my previous appeal. Loka staff said I had a history of hate speech prior to my ban, which is obviously true. Before my ban, I was warned for hate speech, but as you can guess, I didn't really take it seriously, which later led to my ban during the Deszczówka Alliance ban wave. Other than that, I was acting like an immature kid with a big ego, talking trash to people I fought against, and overall being a nuisance to others via toxicity and hate speech. All I can say is that I've changed my ways; I've grown up, and that is just not who I am anymore.
If you didn't read my previous appeals, you may wonder what happened. Why exactly did I get banned? Me, among lots of other players, got banned during the Deszczówka Alliance ban wave for making the entire Alliance Discord about the "n-word" and other racial slurs and gifs. I was actively spreading hate and racism because back then I thought I was being funny, although I later realized what harm I had caused not just to the people I said those violent slurs to, but also to the entire Loka community since a lot of people saw what I had said. There is no way to justify what I did; that's why I want you to understand that the ban was 100% deserved, and I agree that what I did was wrong. Even though I had the chance to stop at any point in time and put an end to it, I just kept going.
After I got banned , I took a break from Minecraft. I took that time to focus on real life, and also it gave me a chance to rethink my choices and actions. As I mentioned in my last appeal, at the start, I didn't really agree with the staff's decision. I was overlooking my own actions and blaming others for what had happened due to my big ego. As more time has passed, I accepted the ban, understood the decision, and only then did I realize how wrong I was. "Words and jokes" have much more impact on others than I originally realized; they carry a lot of weight with them and can hurt others and cause more harm than I could imagine.
Once again, I'd like to take this chance to apologize . As I did in my previous appeal, I want to direct an apology, especially to Loka staff. Due to my actions, I put your server at risk, possibly making players quit and ruining the server's good name. And it's not just that. I'm very sorry for all the time you had to waste on taking care of that mess and then dealing with the aftermath also. I want to direct an apology to the player base too. My actions exposed you all to previously unseen amounts of racism and hate, possibly ruining your experience and making your day worse. And I'm very sorry for that. All I can do now is apologize and promise that these things will never happen again.
I hope you all can see how I have changed over the last two years. I put a lot of effort into my appeals, and I hope we can meet again soon. Thank you for taking the time to read my appeal, and have a great day!
