+1, he has seriously matured and changed as a person. Of course, I'm biased because he's in the same town as me, but that also means I interact with him a lot, and know him well.
In the past 9 months, a lot has happened. He now has his driving license, he's attending college, simply put, he's no longer an edgy immature teen, but an adult instead, and he's acting like one now. The ban was definitely deserved, and it sounds like 9 months of reflection has had a positive influence on him, so let him come back as a changed man.
On the topic of the ban itself, I just wanted to weight in with my personal experience as someone who was upset about being "forced" to join a discord server like that. I complained repeatedly about the name and roles to alliance leadership, to no avail. It disgusted and annoyed me, I had uninstall discord from my phone, I didn't want anyone to see me be part of a server like that.
And yet I did not leave the server. Maybe I should have, on reflection, and it's something I regret. But it was easier to go along with the flow, and not cause too much drama, I wanted to go to fights after all. And despite my and another player's repeated complaints, the two server admins refused to change the roles or server name.
I think it's good 404lucas is taking responsibility for telling his recruits (and me) to join the server, but as a matter of fairness, I think it should be said that even if he complained and took a stand, I doubt very much the server admins would have been willing to listen.
All in all, I think the appeal shows his sincerity, and I believe from all my interactions with him and also all the experiences people have shared here, that he deserves to be unbanned now.
