Introduction:
Hi Loka, I am 9621. I was banned 7 months ago because of cheating. But recently, a friend messaged me on Discord to see if I wanted to play with Loka. I couldn't say yes because I was still banned, but that conversation made me think about my previous choices and the reasons behind them, which is what inspired me to write this.
Context:
Back then, I made a choice to cheat during a friendly duel against oxav. I justified this action by the fact that it was merely a friendly duel and could harm no one. Looking back, however, this logic does not make sense. It did not occur to me at the time that I had cost valuable time for an admin to screen share me and I was breaking the rules of the server to increase my own enjoyment of it. Furthermore, I failed to take into account the consequences of using hacks on the server in general.
Reflection:
Now, after having a lot of time for reflection, I have come to the conclusion that my choice to hack was rash and hasty. As I see it now, "it was just a duel with a friend" cannot be a valid excuse. Whatever the circumstances, hacking is hacking, and this makes staff waste their time on something that could very well be avoided.
Apology:
Finally, I would like to apologize to the Loka staff for wasting their time and to the community for violating the rules that keep the server balanced and fair for all players. I am fully responsible for my actions on the server. I do not try to justify myself in any way or to explain the reasons for my actions because I understand that my ban was right, I hope you all can forgive me.
