I think it would be cool if once a month there was a day where all items that can be sold to NPCs like Fish or Ores can be sold for a significantly higher price, like a 1.5x or 2x increase on the value that they sell to their respective NPCs for.
This could also bring back RI ganks if you make it red tagged during Economy Day, or if it just stays yellow tag it could give pvpers a reason to grind resources to help their town. Having event days helps get more people on and can make that aspect of the game fairly competitive too in a fun way.
