No Plans to Implement Alliance Chest?

We know we have all been in a situation where one of our alliance members needs help. This could be fixed with a new perk for leveling up your town. We removed one of the perks of toggling mob spawning in town but never got around to replacing it (or so I thought), this could be readded with a new perk called "Alliance Chest" and it would be the same as /g chest, except /g a chest. Only people who have the perk would be able to use it... otherwise, you're screwed?

This is an interesting concept and I'd recommend people pile on and bounce ideas around since I believe we are still missing a town perk due to mob toggle being taken away.

This just seems like a recipe for a huge disaster. People will constantly complain about how another player from another town stole their items. Not to mention this could allow towns to transfer items quickly without hassle. Overall, it just seems like it OP and only issues will come of it.

I agree with the point blaster raised. I could see a lot of players potentially taking items out while in a reins fight and nobody knowing _who_ took the items. I don't think that scenario is likely but if it was to occur staff should consider adding a Lokabot like prompt that allows players to access what was taken or deposited. This could become spammy but there's potential for town betrayal even though it's alliance wide.

1. Would alliances really steal from each other? If so yikes.
2. Towns already transfer items quickly with /g chest? This would just be a gchest for alliances so that you can transport it to allies and use up the useless town level that does nothing.

For that second one, I assume that people will want the alliance chest to be bigger than the current g chest, due to more town using it.

For example each time a town levels up "x" amount of exp will go to the alliance, if we end up doing this then we could easily add an alliance chest and have more to do after town level 25.
Good idea, but it could be exploited with proxies. If it were to be added, there would have to be something which prevents this.

My main thoughts on this is the items that gives you access to. If you carry around an echest on you, that’s an entire chest worth of items or space you have access to. Your /g chest is yet another chest worth of items and space you have access to at any given moment. This would add a third chest you could have access to at any given moment. And if we’re being honest that’s a lot of space. I would argue too much.

There’s a reason using shulkers in these chests is restricted. Being able to store so many items safely and having access to so many items at any given moment is too much. Imagine being able to safely store say three chests worth of items from the RI or recently fallen towns without having to return home. Or going for a conquest match and somebody could have access to 3 chests worth of items yet only having 1 (at most) items in your inventory dedicated to accessing them. It’s nuts quite frankly. I get where this idea is coming from but that amount of items being easily available is a bit too much.

I mean, we could just restrict it to being used in towns and such if needed.

If this feature is added following these points it will be perfect in my opinion, +1 from me
