Suggestion Alliance/Town Broadcast

We all know the pain of making recruits listen. You might have recruit spamming chat with "how do I warp?" after it's been answered 75,000 times, and still not understand. Or they could be saying "who is on my team", not knowing which color is which. The main issue is, there isn't really a way for recruits who don't use external systems like Discord to really see important information.

What is usually done, is you'll have the main alliance leaders spam chat over and over and pray that the recruits actually look at chat, or they'll spam ping people in a discord hoping that the recruits join the discord, or actually read it. 99% of the time, they don't have the intellectual capacity to actually read what is being said. This is incredibly problematic, as it makes it significantly more difficult for alliances and towns to organize properly without recruits completely throwing. It also means that recruits with room temperature IQ (most of them) won't know what is going on, or frequently asked questions like, "How do I warp?" "What do I do in wars?" "How do I get to town?" can't be answered effectively.

The Solution:
Add a Town and Alliance broadcast system. What does this do? There's 2 ways it could work.

Option one:
Similar to the global broadcast like when Loka will be doing a planned restart, or when someone pings a radar, it could show up in chat and be easy to notice, so it might grab the attention of recruits. The downside to this, is it actually requires recruits to have a slight understanding of Loka, and know what is a broadcast and isn't. It would DEFINITELY help get them to notice, however some might end up missing it.

Option two:
A more obtrusive broadcast system, that could show up on their screen, like when you're standing at a beacon to warp, and it counts down on your screen. Anyone who somehow doesn't see this probably would have too much difficulty even installing the game, so it's most likely NO ONE will ignore it. The problem with this is it could be too obtrusive, and might blocks alliance members screens. Obviously to avoid this, it should be an alliance permission like managing fighters for Rivina or Reins. There should also be a cooldown for it (obviously) to prevent flooding your screen.

Preventing Abuse:
For towns and such, perms should only be given to subowners and such. This way town issues with it can be handled at the discretion of the town owner, and no one is gonna just join and start flooding your screen/chat.

Another thing you can do is give a global or player cooldown on it. For global cooldown, it would be like the alliance/town can only use it once ever 30 seconds or something. For player side cooldown, everyone gets their own individual cooldown, this could definitely be abused if people wanted to spam it and grief for some reason.

Finally, if this would be implemented in alliances, allow the alliance owner to give it to select towns, like Rivi/Reins management.

Counterclaims:
"It's the town's and alliances responsibility to control their recruits"
While this is definitely true, this just gives them another option to help reach them, without messages being flooded out or overlooked, ESPECIALLY in large alliances.

"It's not necessary!"
When trying to handle like 70+ recruits at once, and get them all to be on the same page, it DEFINITELY is, because a majority forget to turn on their brains when logging on Loka.

"Can't this be abused or used to grief?"
Yes it could, but this is true for a lot of things already in place like Rivina management where someone might spam kick people trying to warp to grief, and this is a lot more harmless.

"I feel like disagreeing just because I can"
Bruh.

CONCLUSION:
PLEASE UPVOTE THIS SO IT COULD BE IMPLEMENTED IT WOULD BENEFIT EVERYONE.

-1 first of all i aint reading all that
secondly, it sounds like a u problem - organising your recruits adds another layer of skill to leading, i understand why you want it to be easier (awful leaders leading awful recruits LOL), but the most simple solution is getting good

I dont think ive ever heard of a more stupid suggestion than this. Handling 70 recruits isnt hard, you just need to man up and actually take care of your responsibilities as a leader. This just sounds like you are too lazy to actually lead and want to add something useless due to that. As a polska man said "organising your recruits adds another layer of skill to leading". Just get better, thats the only thing you need, not some trash like this LOL

For one idk why you're being so hostile about this, and two, if you actually read the post, it isn't about getting your recruits to "listen to you" most recruits genuinely just don't read, and this gives leaders of large alliances/towns a way to actually reach all of them at once. Plus, saying it's out of laziness isn't really a great take because you can say the same for nearly every QOL mod or client. For example potion hud, you could just tell someone "don't be lazy just check it". That doesn't really make the request any less valid, it just means you specifically don't need it

LOL im not hostile, sorry if you think i am. I know for a fact that recruits wont read broadcasts, since they dont have the same impact as an actual player telling them to log on. What makes you think a broadcast will have a better effect on players reading if they already dont read actual pings in alliance discords, discords specifically used to broadcast and deliver a message to all players in your alliance? You touched on some players not having discord and that doesnt really work well since to play ranked, or be part of the community, one has to be in the discord. So the users that dont use discord can basically not play loka to its fullest.

You talked about problems such as players not knowing how to warp or players not knowing what to do in wars. This can easily be fixed by having a seperate channel in your alliance discord dedicated towards how loka works. Its not guaranteed that players understand it the first time they read, and then thats up to you to help them understand as a leader. A broadcast system used to help these recruits will simply annoy players who already know how to play, and a majority aswell. Broadcasts cant be as precise as when an experienced player explains. Its your job as a leader to teach your recruit the ropes of loka. Not some broadcast that will annoy others.

Ive seen in my own experience that when a leader individually explains to you how to play, the message goes across a lot clearer than a broadcast. When i was a recruit, i had a hard time understanding how loka worked, even while reading the guides. Thats when an experienced lokan showed me the ropes and helped me understand things that i didnt understand prior. Players have a lot of questions, and answering all these questions in several broadcasts will simply just be annoying towards the players who know. As i said before, teach your recruit how to play, its easier, clearer and will definitely help them get better at the game.

But, lets say you have a large town with over 30 people warping consistently. You may say itll be harder to help that many people understand how to play loka, but the recruiters who recruit them should dedicate themselves to actually helping them understand rather than just pick them off a practice server, slap some armor and pots on them, then send them off to war hoping they understand a broadcast.

Personally, i would rather have a player explain to me how to play loka than be spammed with a bunch of broadcasts everyday. Its a decent idea but it wont help as much.

(Also potion hud is a lazy mod, just get better and check ur potion duration 😂 )

+1 seems like a worthy feature even outside handling recruits. Some possible usage of broadcasting would be using it for commands during conquest or to say something like "warp blue" when reins are called. It makes it easier for the owners to manage their members. I know it wouldn't be needed when everyone in the town/alliance is in a voice call together, but I personally prefer to not join the voice call due to all the chaos and I know there are many that feels the same as I do.

Why are you so against a harmless implementation to help the QoL of the server lmao
