Some of you watched the battleground map being constructed with little more information than Town v Town battleground. It's time to spill the beans on the next pseudo-battleground in the works!
Vale of Conquest
This battleground allows Towns to finally show their prowess in combat and strategy in a Tower Control based Battleground combining aspects of Hungergames, VotA, Overload, and gathering!
Towns and (an added-later) Nomad Group start in the middle, spawned randomly in a ring. Upon the game start, players must choose to fight or run for towers in efforts to control them.
Within the Vale, there are 3 biomes, and 6 towers. Control of towers is key to this battleground as those who control towers at the end of the match will earn Perks for their town for a period of time after the game is over.
Unlike VotA and Overload, Vale can only be played every (subject to change) 1.5 hours. Upon completion of a game, those towns who have earned perks will have their perks only for the 1.5 hours after the match ends and the next match can begin. An example of some of the perks include:
After the 1.5 hours have passed, the perks are removed (regardless of whether a new match is about to begin or not).
Additionally, Vale does not only cater to those most skilled in fighting. There are additional objectives within the battleground. Strewn about the map in forms of animals, chests, melons, and ores are biome-specific resources. Collect those resources and bring them back to your tower's chest. Doing so allows you to upgrade your tower. What's in store for upgraded towers?
Specific to each of the three biome types are resources. Collect Savannah Resources and each one counts for 1 point towards your tower upgrade. However, should you collect and bring opposing-biome resources to your towers, you will be awarded 3 upgrade points per item instead of one. It pays to venture into enemy territory to gather their resources if you're brave enough. But of course, it gets better. Control both towers within a specific biome (Desert, Savannah, or Jungle) and all monsters that spawn in that biome will be on your team!

- Double XP Gain
- Fortune Block Breaking (Think fortune enchant, but not limited to pickaxes or a single item).
- The other Perks are still in debate.
After the 1.5 hours have passed, the perks are removed (regardless of whether a new match is about to begin or not).

- A Level 1 tower is inert, does nothing, but allows your town the ability to upgrade it. Invest resources in the tower and it will reach:
- Level 2 - Monsters will spawn within the vicinity of the tower wearing your team's colored armor. They fight for you! Additionally, your tower is harder to take by enemies.
- Level 3 - Your tower will now shoot fireballs at would be invaders. The tower is increasingly more difficult for enemies to take.
- Level 4 - Locked Down - Spend enough resources upgrading the tower and the tower becomes permanently under your control. No enemy team can take it! This is the ultimate and last level of a tower and will be rare and expensive to pull off. The rewards would be better than you'd expect, however.
