Edit: Post-thought. At some point I'll likely make like a slider (ala the one on our wiki) on our front page which'll have news and announcements and whatnot. Are these kinds of events things you guys would want to see on there? This would be as opposed to it just being server announcements about RP events, season changes, etc.
