Ban Reason: Alting/Refusal to ss
Why I was banned
2 weeks prior to my initial ban in lokamc I was training diamond pot due to the EU region coming out for lokamc. During that time I started maining ranked duels as a way to get consistent and good practice to increase my skill, but during one of my days after a ranked duel I was randomly frozen and was suspected of being an alt, I was then told to Screenshare and since I had never been screeenshared in my life I was overall nervous and was hesitant to comply due to the screenshare method being through Anydesk which gives second-hand access to my pc and I did not know if that could be used maliciously against me so I accepted my ban planning on appealing it.
Why I refused
Whilst I am sure the Loka staff are not malicous and have no intent on acting maliciously I felt like I had no reason to be suspected as an alt as I don't even have an alt so I was nervous and confused to how I was suspected in which lead to me to not wanting to be screenshared despite it leading to the permanent ban I have now (I was warned the ban would be permanent with possibility to be appealed), however I have had no prior infractions on loka and I hope that alone can give me a bit of credibility as all I did was play ranked never participating in any other loka related activities as I was just training the diamond pot kit.
What I would do differently
If I was in the spot I was 12 months ago I would comply with the screenshare as my actions were immature and came from a place of nervousness and not a alter getting caught as I stated I have no prior infractions and wouldn't want to cause any issues on loka. I believe my willingness to comply with a ss should show my capacity to change how I would act in the situation, I know the ban was justified and deserved I hope my appeal is considered in good faith.
