Reason : Avoiding SS/Macros
My IGN : 0Koro
Hello Lokans,
I'm here to appeal my punishment for "Avoiding SS/Macros" and would like to explain what happened from my perspective.
I'd like to begin with my old punishment, I was banned over a year ago without being frozen/screenshared at the time. I was initially playing on the Loka's training map C-Train with my friend, we were just playing for fun fighting each other normally as any friends would on the C-Train, suddenly I was banned for "Hacking" with no explanation, I made an appeal. Where I assumed that my punishment reason was due to the fact that staff members thought that I was using some sort of lag switcher/ping spoofer, which I can understand as at that time my internet was really bad and was highly inconsistent. I also included a few screenshots showing the inconsistencies of my internet on the appeal. Not long after, I got the response on my appeal that my punishment was lifted with no explanation. At that time, I assumed that my assumption of me being banned for ping spoofing was correct as that was the main part of my appeal.
On the day of my recent punishment I was just casually playing on the C-Train with my town members, when I was frozen by ChickPro, where he told me that I had to screenshare to prove my legitimacy or I could admit to using any sort of macros that could give me an unfair advantage over other players. I fully cooperated with him and asked about the reason for being frozen and his answer was that I was using some sort of macros that could help me get high cps, and that I flagged the anticheat multiple times.
I had multiple optimization mods that are not allowed on Loka ( I will be listing them later on ), which is my mistake for having them on without ensuring that they were on the Loka's allowed mods list. I asked ChickPro about what could possibly make me flag the anticheat, and he said that certain mods could. I then decided to come straight forward about it and told him about all the mods I had that might flag the anticheat, and I also told him that I had a macro linked to my mouse's side button that's used for a roblox game that I might have accidentally triggered, which is also my mistake for not removing it as I don't actively use it anymore. He asked me about the macro and what it does, I could not really remember the exact actions of it, so I went ahead and opened my mouse software and checked the details of the macros and told him about it, however after I checked the software my game had frozen for a few seconds, Which is an issue with my Modrinth instance where if I launch any application over my Minecraft instance, my game bugs out and crashes. Luckily, it didn't crash that time. But, I knew that since it didn't crash, if I tab out of my game now or like focus on another application on my computer it'd have a really good chance of crashing. I told him about that, and he said that there's nothing that he can do about it and that in case my game crashes which is out of my control, I'd be punished for avoiding the screenshare. He then told me that some of my mods are not on the allowed mods list and could potentially flag the server's anticheat.
He then insisted that I needed to do the screenshare using anydesk or I will be punished from the server, I offered multiple things that I can try to do to prove my legitimacy like a handcam before we try to do the screenshare using anydesk as I was concerned that switching applications would cause Minecraft to crash, based on the issue I had already experienced before. I was seen as if I was trying to avoid the screenshare, and I was banned right there on the spot, I understand that I said there was a good chance of it crashing. But, this does not mean that it was a 100% guaranteed chance and I understand why doing that could be seen as avoiding the screenshare. But, this was not my intention, I was just concerned about a technical issue that I had already experienced and was trying to find another way to demonstrate my legitimacy. I believe that I should have at least gotten the chance to do that before getting banned, which is a chance to prove my legitimacy, that I was not given. I'll be including a video taken and uploaded on the same day of the punishment showing the problem I have with my minecraft crashing.
Lastly, I'd like to point out the fact that this punishment alongside my old one, all occurred whilst I was on C-Train, and ChickPro said that he decided to screenshare me cause I flagged the anticheat multiple times which somehow only happens while I'm on the C-Train, he didn't bring up anything about doing it because of a suspicious clip that someone reported me for, or multiple people reporting me. My point is I find it unusual that both this punishment and my previous punishment occurred while I was on C-Train. I understand that cheating can technically occur anywhere, but C-Train is primarily a training area used between friends and town/alliance members. If I had intentionally wanted to gain an advantage through macros, I'd have used it in Ranked Duels, Rivinas, Conquests, or Zyre where I'd get a real benefit from it.
I know that not verifying that all my mods were allowed on Loka was my mistake, and I take full responsibility for it. I've created a seperate profile for Loka with only mods that are listed on the allowed mods list and deleted the macro from my mouse software, so I now have a completely separate profile for Loka.
I'd also like the staff team to consider the issue I had with my game crashing.

The mods I had on that instance that aren't allowed on Loka.

I sincerely ask the staff to take the time to look into my punishment and consider lifting or reducing it.
It means a lot to me if you have read it all, I hope you have a great rest of your day.
