This connection point does not give europeans low ping but its rather an attempt to try to lower latency and lag spikes. Most europeans actually get higher ping than usual on the new connection point.

NA's are using the proxy just to boost their ping so they lag more, the proxy barely works for EU and theyd have to rely on the NA proxy to let them join the server
