I don't personally see her helping out new players too much (she does occasionally though) and incites/continues many arguments in public chat

The first day I joined the server I joined the town Valinor. On that first day I was verbally attacked by Beetee in town chat for no reason at all, to my knowledge. This kind of verbal attack continued throughout my stay in Valinor until the day she left the town. There were minor disagreements in global chat until the point where I decided to /ignore her because I was sick of dealing with the situations.

Beetee has always been a nice person and hard worker. She always sticks up for the little guys when they're being bullied, which might be the reason why some of those bullies are a little mad, but she has always done the right thing. She is definitely a positive influence on the server.

There are often various sides of a person people will see and/or claim exist and they can all be true, some, none, etc. The important thing to remember about a Slicer is that that person is given a rank that bestows them with the recognition that they are well regarded and helpful and capable of representing the entirety of the Lokan community in a way that will show new (and other) players what a great place Loka is. I refuse to post on applications or nominations unless I feel absolutely certain of myself that I know a decent bit about someone to be able to contribute to discussion about them. That being said, there are a few things that can be said about Beetee:
In the time I spent in Valinor when Beetee was still there, she was committed to being able to contribute something to the town. At times she was indeed helpful, but it is important to note that DFG's comments are not falsified. From my outside perspective, I have seen her carry the willingness to be helpful in some way and work hard in the various towns she has been a part of and have heard from some about that. I know that Beetee can be kind and helpful to those immediately around her. When she cares about something she clearly shows a level of determination in trying to complete the task.
On the flip side, I have seen her instigate and even start numerous arguments in various chats (and while she has previously been the target of some similar situations, that does not discount the fact that she has been an instigator as well). I don't think that she even borders on the line of necessarily being toxic in any way, but I don't have faith in her ability to represent the Lokan community in a meaningful way. At least not yet. Over the time I have known her I think I have seen a relative decline in these instances, but I don't believe it is enough to say that she should be representing myself or the rest of us at this current point in time. I will certainly be looking and hoping to see that change though, because I do believe that with the end of those negative interactions she could be a welcoming member of the Slicer community.

I'm going to agree with Sparky on this one, she instigates many arguments and has caused grief within my personal town.
As I am sure most of you know, the player Smp_Trash/Matt11smith/King_Mas has had a feud with her and is the instigator in most cases. This however does not exempt her inability to ignore him and move on like most slicers should. One of the best aspects of Slicers that I have seen is their ability to deal with annoying people who join, and their patience in dealing with problems. I do not believe that Beetee has showed this in the case of Smp_Trash.
However I do not agree with Sparky when he says that she has shown growth. I knew her when I was in Utumno and Miracalis and one of the main reasons we left was because of the treatment we received (this included verbal harassment from Beetee). There were several instances where she made us feel un-welcome and tried to turn the leader of Miracalis against us, but it failed. Then when she was with us in Gulls she did build us the castle (and I will admit its a cool castle and we are grateful) but she also started the beef with Smp over smaller issues in town.
I have seen an inability to "be the better man" (or woman in this case) and I think that she needs to learn this before becoming a Slicer. I never saw her welcome new players in the 3 or 4 months I was with her in a town and she seemed to want to leave it to others. She valued friends over new comers (which may not sound like a problem, but we want new comers to stay so I'd imagine it is) and all around did not show what it takes to be a Slicer.
Now I know I seem like I just wrote this to diss Beetee and to get back at her for some random thing, but that's false. I do think she can grow and she really only has one major roadblock in becoming a Slicer. If she could remind herself that Smp_Trash is just another face behind a screen and it isn't worth her time to interact with him, she may show Slicer material.
I wish you good luck with trying to improve yourself if you do not become Slicer, and better luck in keeping your tongue if you do become one
