I would like to start this out by taking full responsibility for my actions. This isn't just for the context of my ban, which I will detail more, but as well for my behavior throughout my time on Loka. My actions did not only violate the rules of the server, but also fall short of the standard that I hold myself to. I have disregarded the effects my actions, particularly what I have said, have on others. This is something a sincerely regret and apologize for.
Context of ban:
I will only briefly go over this, as my previous appeals have went over this already. On 2/15/2025 I was permuted for comments made in ingame public chat where I maliciously jokingly said that Turkish players do not belong on Loka and should be banned. The next day, during an interaction with a Turkish player, IGN VienisasVilkas, in discord I told him to "go back to bombing synagogues" in reference to Islamic terrorists in retaliation for something minor he said after a gank isle kill on me. I also deleted the message afterwards to try to avoid being reported and punished.
I have attempted several times to get into contact with the victim to apology to him directly privately. Unfortunately, from what I can tell he was likely a recruit who played for a few weeks and then quit and left all the Loka discords that I was in. No one who I have asked who knew Turkish groups that played at the time gave me any real clues either. As such, I would like to take this opportunity to apology directly to VienisasVilkas. I should not have made those racist comments that stereotyped you as someone who I doubt you are. I am truly sorry. I would also like to apology to the whole Turkish community of Loka for my comments made the day prior, which furthered the whole "fuck the turks" rhetoric sometimes heard on Loka (and other servers). Even though very few who read this actually saw much less remember those comments, they none-the-less impacted the Turkish community by echoing and spreading hateful rhetoric.
Today, I approach video games and online communities much differently than I did at the time of my ban. I played Loka and other competitive servers like it not just to try to "be the best" or whatever, but instead also to be an impulsive little crashout. To be honest, that was one of my favorite aspects of Loka. Obviously, this stands in direct opposition to Loka's rules and values, and they go against my own values. I have made an intentional effort to change this, playing other competitive servers such as Crusalis in a much different light than I once did. I recognize how little a win or lose on a Minecraft server actually matters, and instead focus on enjoying video games for what they're meant to be: fun.
If I were to be unbanned, I would not only try to just not break the rules and "stay straight", but instead I would intentionally make an effort to be a positive member of the community. I understand how my behavior in the past negatively impacted the community, and want to have the opposite effect. I feel that my none-hyper competitive-toxic approach to the server will rub off on others. Not crashing out screaming crying if I die with a loot llama inventory at gank isle, like many players do, sets an example. I want to do more than just play Loka, I want to positively contribute to the server and it's community, particularly by focusing on having positive interactions with other players and being a knowledgeable player to new players to help them enjoy the server more. I understand my history on the server is a major factor in this decision, but I feel I am not the same person as I was then and I am committed to keeping it that way, and I fully understand if I am muted upon an unban.
Thank you for taking your time to read my appeal.
