Hi Loka Staff,
My name is Bebben, and I’m writing to formally appeal a ban I received approximately UPDATE (36 months apparently / 3 years) ago for town betrayal.
I want to be clear from the start: I fully regret my actions. With time and perspective, it’s obvious that what I did wasn’t worth it in any way. I gained nothing from it, the items involved were removed, and most importantly, my actions hurt the community and damaged trust. That’s something I take responsibility for. At the time of the incident, I didn’t have a proper understanding of Loka’s rules or the impact that breaking them could have on others. Since then, I’ve taken the time to carefully read and understand the server rules and reflect on why they exist. I now understand how serious town betrayal is and why it can’t be taken lightly.
Minecraft has been a big part of my life for years, mainly because of the friendships I’ve built. A group of close friends and I moved to Loka together from another server, and I truly loved playing there. Being banned has meant missing out on playing with them, which has honestly been the hardest part, especially when I still talk with them regularly and hear about their experiences on the server. Over the last 29 months, I’ve made a genuine effort to improve as a player and as a community member. I’ve distanced myself from toxic behavior, learned from my mistakes, and worked on being more respectful and positive in other gaming communities. I now understand how individual actions can affect not just staff, but entire player groups and friendships.
If given another opportunity, I’m committed to being a responsible, cooperative, and rule-abiding member of the Loka community. I’m more than willing to accept any conditions, restrictions, or probationary measures the staff feel are appropriate.
Thank you for taking the time to read and consider my appeal. I sincerely hope I can earn a second chance and prove that I’ve grown from this experience.
Sincerely,
Bebben
