Its also what exactly is the lore and where can you find it all?

Precisely Arc.

Prior to doing my application, I did some research for a few weeks as a way to get ready. In midst of my preparation, I have compiled the entirety of Loka's official server lore in chronological order and a suggested timeline by doing a painful amount of cross-referencing:

First Age

  1. Arrival of the First Slicers
  2. Discovery of the Artifact
  3. Gradual Settlement of the Newly Discovered World
  4. Arrival of the Harvesters/Beginning of Preksak's Exploits
  5. Discovery of the Knife in the Nether
  6. Preksak's Revenge
  7. Raid on the Observatory
Second Age
  1. The Second Age
    1. Buried Pyrmaid
    2. Battle of the Spire
Third Age
  1. The Third Age
    1. Hidden Caverns Heist
    2. Era of Theives
Fourth Age
  1. Discovery of the Fourth Age
    1. Valley of Artifacts
  2. Wars of the Fourth Age
  3. The Obelisk
    1. Blight and Corruption
    2. Multidimensional Beacons
Nameless Age
  1. A Dormant and Unstable World
Fifth Age
  1. Preksaks Return
  2. Aladra and the New World
  3. Beginnings of Conquest (Current History)

Not to mention, the current lore right now is not in chronological order. For example, in official server lore right now, in the section talking about the third age.... it randomly mentions The Obelisk (which happened at the end of the fourth age), and then it hops right back to the third age history, and then goes and introduces the fourth age history. Confusing

From there I would like to expand on that with edits to nail out many unanswered questions about the lore. From that point, If granted the role, Id like to present my suggested edits, work, and then work on a final draft for approval to publish. From that point onward, I would like to move forward with our current lore platform into what is happening currently on Loka so we are apart of the ever-evolving story of the server.

Another thing about the Lore Team, and I'm unsure if they have this already (someone please correct me), id like to create a to-do-list page. This way, if Crypt / Mag ever needs the loreist to do anything, we can find all of our to-do task in the same area.

My goal for being apart of the Lore Team would be to help establish up-to-date history keeping of server official lore, talks of future ideas, and an organized method of idea keeping.

I really love all this. I think it is especially important that the Lore team needs to maintain articles more than anything. Writing new lore is great, but keeping the old stuff alive and kicking is also awesome too. Keeping it all in one place would also be great. It's hard to say that the Wiki is the best spot for official server lore mostly because it links server lore and player lore too directly. It's hard to say what the solution to this is, but I do know that the solution should be discussed a bit more in-depth. The new website would be a great place to either link to a more official lore dump such as World Anvil (like you and I discussed), have an embeded element for World Anvil, or just create a full lore subsection on the website. There's a lot to do going into this role, but I think that the ideas you've laid out are very solid and will work out well for reorganizing it all and bringing some new life to the lore team!
