What you think is expected of this rank:
I expect guardians to be proficient at handling widespread issues on Loka, from town betrayals to screen shares, a guardian should be able to show that they are not only a trustable and helpful person, but aid anyone regardless of any prejudice or tedious problem they may have. Guardians should be able to show the community and their peers that they have the responsibilities of a server admin not just because they can have it, but because they actively use their skills as a guardian to better the server. Guardians should stick as a team in cases where it is acceptable to do so, being disrespectful or rude to members of the community and fellow staff members would be unacceptable for the role, not only because a guardian should maintain a professional sense but also because it would show that you are not capable of working with the community.
What duties do you think you would be proficient in:
I think I could handle screen sharing, report categorizing, and town betrayal. I want to experience responsibilities as a guardian so I can choose one I would like to get better at.
Why you think you should become this rank:
I have many reasons as to why I want to become this rank, and I will use these in my reasoning as why I think I should become this rank. I wouldn't be able to write them all in-depth if I did in paragraph form, so to compromise I will just give a ranked list of things that made me willing to apply for this role.
1. The Community, without the community I would have never found my place on the server, from being recruited to learning conquest, the community guided my experience which led to me writing this application, without the community I would have never met the people who I now call my friends, the people who supported my motives and decisions on making this application. The community is the main reason I want this rank, without the community I would have never decided to apply for Sentry or LCR.
2. Current Staff Team, I was skeptical of applying for guardian, but my fellow staff members supported that I should. They reached out to me and communicated to me about why I should apply, without them, I would have never decided to apply today. Every single staff member who I have talked to has supported my decision one way or another. I believe I clash well with the current staff and I feel accepted in our team.
3. The Server, Loka to me is such a well-grounded server, from an active community to a creative aspect, Loka has it all for me. Loka greatly impacted my decision to make this appeal because of these aspects, if the server wasn't maintained because of this role I would never have wanted to help the community and server prosper.
These three points I prioritized show exactly where my strengths came from, I am more than capable of communicating with members of the community and able to prioritize things to better the server. I have experience with how Loka is to most members of the community and their friend groups, I can base my decisions and actions on aiding the server instead of myself or my peers. I am capable of working as a team. I am an active staff member and love spending time on the server. These strengths that I have attained over time are the reasons why I believe I should become this rank.
