Hello everyone, Today I will be appealing my ban for “Inappropriate Username” and explain why I changed my name to “JefferyEpst31n”. This appeal is divided into multiple sections to make it easier to understand and go through what I’ve done.
Important Information: Ever since I started playing Loka I’ve had a clean history and was mainly playing conquest and ganking with my friends. After a while of having the username “cqntrix” I wanted to change it to something that was recognizable
The Username: I was foolish and immature which led to me changing my name to “JefferyEpst31n” as a joke/troll, even though I knew he wasn’t really a good person, I still wasn’t aware of all his wrong doings. Due to not fully knowing the extent of how bad of a person JefferyEpstein was, I changed my name thinking it would be funny when people read it and did not realise what I’ve truly done.
Apology: After my ban I found out about the things JefferyEpstein has done and was embarrassed that I had changed my username to something that resembles him. I changed my username back to “cqntrix” and I promise not to break any rules again if I am granted another chance. I’ve realised that usernames can have a large impact as they can resemble things that are inappropriate and bad. JefferyEpstein was a dangerous person and a sex offender who had committed various crimes against minors, this is why using his name was inappropriate and not a joke. I am truly sorry to everyone for what I’ve done as it was a foolish and immature mistake that I’ve made and will not be repeated again. While watching some of my friends play Loka I realised how much I missed the server and regret what I did nine to ten months ago.
Conclusion: It’s been about 9-10 months since my ban and I would really appreciate another chance at playing Loka as the server is a one of a kind experience. I’ve learnt a lot since I was banned and realised sometimes you learn only by making mistakes and ignorance isn’t an excuse, what I did wasn’t acceptable and my ban was well deserved. If I am given another shot at Loka I could prove myself to the community and myself that I am a changed person, I’d make sure to follow all rules and be a good lokan.
