Good day Loka community and staff. I am writing to you today to appeal my ban for hate speech
Introduction
for those who dont know me my name is crackersarecool and i have joined loka in 2022, I played as a logon for some time but would become an active player in 2024. In May 2024 I received a warning for my hate speech against the Turkish community, I have apologized for my actions and since become friends with many Turkish people on Loka. During my time on Loka i was very immature and often was toxic or trolling people. If you read the paragraph below you will see i no longer have these traits. Apart from the warning and my ban, i have never broken any other rules like hacking or made any attempts to evade my ban. I have been banned for over a year now and hope to rejoin the Loka community, i hope the players and staff are ready to accept me back in and allow me to prove that i have changed as a person
How I Have Changed Since My Ban
Getting banned honestly changed my life, not because the server was the problem, but because me wanting to change myself to get unbanned lead to a genuine change in how i live my life. I have been banned for a year and 2 months now and it has given me alot of time to think about what i have done. Since my ban i have gotten rid of the bad habits like toxic messages and the constant negativity. I have greatly reduced how much I play minecraft as I have now gotten my first job and also focused on study, only after doing this have I noticed how much minecraft was affecting my mental health, now I only play in a small amount of free time I get and hopefully I can soon spend it playing Loka again. I understand the severity of the rules I broke and I take full accountability over my actions, I cant go back and unsay what I said but I can say that I am sorry, and that I am never going to do something so immature and disgusting again. Overall I’ve changed a lot from the person I was, and I really believe the time I’ve spent banned shows that, so I hope you can look at who I am now instead of who I used to be and give me a second chance to come back and actually be a positive part of the Loka community.
How I Will Act If Unbanned
Like i said in my previous appeal my behaviour is completely different now and you will never see the old me again, toxic habits like "ez" are gone and i will instead be a player to help the community and new recruits instead of making the experience worse for others. I can promise you im going to follow every rule. If you want to leave me on a permanent mute if unbanned and i completely understand why you would want to do that after my past actions. I wish to enjoy the server again with my friends in Dawnstar, and help them build a new town. I would be forever grateful to get a second chance at playing Loka again and can assure you i will not let you down.
I cannot undo what i did, but i am genuinely sorry from the bottom of my heart, to anyone who was hurt from my actions. I believe i have served enough time to be allowed a second chance and i hope you can see it too. To anyone who +1 i am very thankful for your support.
