As the title says, I think it'd be a fun thing to have community members design and vote for kill messages / battle helms / pets / titles that would then be added to the usual treasure knife roll table. I believe it'd boost player engagement and interest in Loka cosmetics, and it would just be plain cool to see something you designed added to the server. Of course, there should be guidelines for the suggestions, and battle helms should have a minimal amount of effort put into their design. The community would then be able to vote on an elder/guardian-curated selection of the submissions, to see whose creations get added to LokaMC!

I'd say just go for it! We can troll through the suggestions as we come up with ideas and implement ones we like.
