This was written and approved by myself and Prodigy using our version of events of the situation. I did not pressure Prodigy into providing any evidence, nor did I make him "backtrack".
Last night I was banned for town betrayal by Skuhoo due to a miscommunication between my town owner (Prodxgy) and Skuhoo.
After killing a player in the town and stealing his lore sword, Prodigy had dmed Skuhoo asking if he could get the sword back for the player I had killed without getting me banned. Skuhoo replied stating that "Players don't get to decide who gets banned". Prodigy understood this and Skuhoo then replied stating "If you want admin intervention with a town betrayal we're going to punish for town betrayal" and "If you want my opinion Dae should definitely know better by this point so I wouldn't protect him" To which Prodigy replied "yk what, u right" believing he meant protect/defend my actions (killing the player.) Overlooking the situation, we completely understand how this was misinterpreted and we apologise for that.
After I was banned, Prodxgy and myself dmed Skuhoo stating that it was a miscommunication and Prodxgy never wanted me banned (hence why Prodxgy never made a /report, and in his original message he stated he did not want me banned.) Staff intervention was not necessary as I would've given the sword back the next morning (it was 4am at this point, I was going to bed and had logged off before I was banned.) Skuhoo believes that I had pressured Prodxgy into making him dm Skuhoo and withdraw the ban since staff intervention (banning me and getting the sword back) was not wanted by the town owner. Me and Prodxgy have been good friends for 3+ years, and "pressuring" him is not something I would've done over a 2 week ban. Since the ban, I have tried multiple times to reach out to staff to explain the situation and get it sorted but have had no response from the staff team until UghBraces & mimo4 pinged them in Loka discord to which they got an immediate response saying to appeal on the forums.
We understand that this was just a miscommunication from both parties, and I apologise for having this situation begin in the first place. Thank you for reading.
