This was written and approved by myself and Prodigy using our version of events of the situation. I did not pressure Prodigy into providing any evidence, nor did I make him "backtrack".

Last night I was banned for town betrayal by Skuhoo due to a miscommunication between my town owner (Prodxgy) and Skuhoo.

After killing a player in the town and stealing his lore sword, Prodigy had dmed Skuhoo asking if he could get the sword back for the player I had killed without getting me banned. Skuhoo replied stating that "Players don't get to decide who gets banned". Prodigy understood this and Skuhoo then replied stating "If you want admin intervention with a town betrayal we're going to punish for town betrayal" and "If you want my opinion Dae should definitely know better by this point so I wouldn't protect him" To which Prodigy replied "yk what, u right" believing he meant protect/defend my actions (killing the player.) Overlooking the situation, we completely understand how this was misinterpreted and we apologise for that.

After I was banned, Prodxgy and myself dmed Skuhoo stating that it was a miscommunication and Prodxgy never wanted me banned (hence why Prodxgy never made a /report, and in his original message he stated he did not want me banned.) Staff intervention was not necessary as I would've given the sword back the next morning (it was 4am at this point, I was going to bed and had logged off before I was banned.) Skuhoo believes that I had pressured Prodxgy into making him dm Skuhoo and withdraw the ban since staff intervention (banning me and getting the sword back) was not wanted by the town owner. Me and Prodxgy have been good friends for 3+ years, and "pressuring" him is not something I would've done over a 2 week ban. Since the ban, I have tried multiple times to reach out to staff to explain the situation and get it sorted but have had no response from the staff team until UghBraces & mimo4 pinged them in Loka discord to which they got an immediate response saying to appeal on the forums.

We understand that this was just a miscommunication from both parties, and I apologise for having this situation begin in the first place. Thank you for reading.

a while ago i was reported by a subowner of the town astro for town betrayal until the actual full owner of the town contacted staff and told them he did not report me nor did he want the report made, and thus the report was cancelled. would the same logic not apply here if prodigy (the full owner) is saying he does not want dae banned

+1 a simple miscommunication, i showed dae my chat logs, and dms with skuhoo, and i can confirm that everything he has stated is true. on top of this, dae did not pressure me to “change” my mind. i never wanted him banned, so there was no mind to change.

+1 i was in a vc with prodigy this whole time and he never wanted dae to get banned at all despite track and others in vc telling prodigy to report him just miscommunication to say the least

I think that any -1’s saying any variation of the following are misguided:

-1 GG this kid can’t wait 2 weeks for an unban 🤣🤣
-1, had it coming + toxic player
-1 get off of forums go outside and touch grass
-1 no-life loser who sweats ranked only to be worse than tracklol 🤣🤣
-1 why did u bother appealing a 2 week ban?? imo u got off easy and this is pushing it
-1 pls log off and stop crying weirdo
-1, clearly an incident of town betrayal, and admins can intervene in town betrayal incidents

We should be looking at this situation from the perspective of, “What precedent should we be setting about a Town Owner’s consent being necessary for admin intervention?”

In my view, the standard that has been repeatedly and consistently applied for the past 2 years of my time on Loka has been that the full owner of the town has the final say in whether or not they desire for admin intervention. If this precedent is not convincing enough, then I’m not entirely sure what would suffice as proof that Dae’s ban was unjust.

+1 No /report was made and from what I’ve been told is that one must be made for it to be dealt with Admins. Sounds like a miscommunication and Skuhoo took it upon himself to punish a player without a report.

-1 give his lore back
"Staff intervention was not necessary as I would've given the sword back the next morning (it was 4am at this point, I was going to bed and had logged off before I was banned.)" Can you not read?
