Well one, the Appeal can be much, much better, it doesn't say what he did, whether he did it or not, he didn't acknowledge the reason he was banned. Nor does it say how long it has been since his ban.

Yeah unfortunately town betrayal exists along with a lot of other things, they really do have better to do
For clarification, Darhki and rsb were caught in the middle of attempting the dupe with an inventory full of shulkers and would have done the dupe had they not been immediately banned. There's not really any reason for us to view it differently from actually duping.

Sure they tried but failed, but it doesn’t mean it has to be a perm ban. It’s there first offense and he wants to play with his friends and have fun. That’s what we all play for.

as for him being unbanned its a -1 as i dont think you can just have knowledge of a dupe knowing its illegal then proceed to attempt said dupe and have people say you "technically didnt dupe". its obvious he regrets what he did but i still dont think that is enough for an immediate unban. however i am in support of making his ban shorter, maybe like 2 weeks? if he doesnt have history of rule breaking
Kind of funny how they wanted to use an exploit to its maximum potential but think it's fine because they weren't successful.
I don't think a lot of you guys who dupe appreciate how much time it takes for another person to clean up the mess made.
It's kind of sad how many of the appeals come off as insincere because they were made so soon after people were banned. Not just the fact that so many either lie or try to twist the truth in their favour. If a lot of these appeals waited a couple months, were honest and sincere I think a lot of them would have significantly better chances of being taken seriously.
