What you think is expected of this rank: Sentries are referred to as the "chat moderators" of Loka. It seems that most people believe a sentry's duty is to call people out for using swear words and copy/paste a welcome message to every new player that joins. I think that sentries, while not having much more power than below ranks, have a certain authority that players should respect. This brings the responsibility of keeping the Loka public chat a clean and safe place to talk, helping newbs and veterans alike with issues that arise during the day, and setting a good example for other players.
Why you think you should become this rank: I have always said that I will never become an admin, but things have taken a change for the worse over the past year or so. Many players have felt that Loka has become a threatening and hostile place to play and have either left or are considering leaving. I don't believe that Loka should remain this way and wish to help in any way possible, even if it means taking up the duties of an admin position. While I may have had a controversial past here, I believe that I have made some significant changes and try to be on good terms with everyone here, as well as treat everyone equally. It also is apparent that Loka lacks dedicated American admins, which I can hopefully provide. I wish to keep personal matters out of issues in Loka, and to not treat anyone unfairly. As a side note, I also wish to work my way up to Guardian in the near future so I can help Loka return to a safe environment in a more impacting way.

How often do you play (hours a day/week): I'm starting to become more active so I can see myself dedicating about 1-3 hours per weekday on Loka at least.
