Around a couple hours ago, I got muted again for "Harassment". I, someone who was previously muted understand the severity of actions that can lead to mutes, but this one genuinely perplexes me. I have been on somewhat good behavior ever since my previous mute understand that i was on my final warning. Earlier today, I was speaking to a friend of mine, Moodvy. He was saying "fa1c u fell off" and other harmless banter. I then responded with "Fk you", nothing serious, nothing harmful, nothing insane to say to a friend of mine. I was then permanently muted on the basis of harassment for this. My confusion comes from the fact that this is grounds for harassment when the other party doesn't report/care about this said interaction?

I got recently unmuted around end of april/beginning of may. I haven't been in any/much trouble since then, and after speaking with Moodvy and another guardian I was advised to make a post about this. Now I'm not here to cry or complain I just would like to know/dispute this reason. Thank you

+1 i’m the friend he “harassed” and i can confirm i was not being harassed in any way. We were only playing around as friends. Great guy and definitely deserves to be unmuted

+1 seems pretty insane to me that he gets remuted for saying "fk you" to his friend. A warning or even a final warning due to his past actions yes, but a mute is insane to me. Please free this person up immediately.

if there was some other mysterious reason they cant share that was the reason for the mute then Ok but arguing that "fk you" in general let alone to a friend is a perm mute idk man

You can say that in VC or TC but if you say it in public chat, i think you’re completely disregarding the server rules, if someone were to say that to you, and if swearing were allowed in the future, would you feel the same way if it hurt other people? or let them suffer then?

All of us staff members have strict rules we must follow, if we turn a blind eye, it will only make the server environment worse and worse, we have our own difficulties, too, and i dont want players to be muted or smth

is everyone who calls people ass at cove gonna be perm muted too? what about "ur trash"? these all hurt ppl. if your perm muting with a light mute history for saying "fk you" to a friend then that sets a precedent that should be getting many people perm muted a day

i dont mute people for no reason, i usually give a warning first, i only do that if someone has already received their final warning

so from now on i can start reporting people who call me or others trash or ass or just generally swearing and even if they have any trace of mute history nomatter how light they can be perm muted?

if you have been subjected to prolonged harassment that constitutes defamation, we are happy to handle the matter

so your switching completely off the point that swearing hurts people and makes them suffer and should be a mutable offence? how do you reason fa1cs mute then? it was not prolonged nor did it constitute defamation, all he did was say "Fk you" to a friend which is completely on his side. the point is that fa1c was muted for small banter between friends not anything deeper, and when i asked you if i can report similar situations you completely veered off topic

so why when i asked if i can report people swearing at cove or conquest you told me i can only do it if its prolonged? this case clearly sets a precendant that swearing of any sort is a perm mute if they have a light history
