Make it so unlocked doors and locked doors can be diffentiated as it is difficult to know in a town with a lot of doors which are open and which are not.

maybe while holding a tool similar to like the gold axe for zoning, particles could come up on the doors indicating it.

This is kind of a fun/interesting idea though that might be worth trying out. I'll file it under the Town QoL update pass for next year.

You could make it change the door type to a different wood when locked but there also 100% flaws with this idea too as I think loka has every type of wood accessible

I think I'm more leaning towards some sort of literal lock display positioned appropriately on each lockable block
